Sports, the best emotional roller coaster one could get. One moment you're talking about potential championships, then the next you're talking about never watching that team again, all within 2 hours. That's the beauty of it.

Can't stand small ball, ISO ball (except for AI) and LOHs, banal, ineffective and irrational.

"Truly good young teams like OKC" won 23 games before adding the final piece of their core(and still only won 5 games more than us). Houston currently is 22 games ahead of that pace. Hopefully we can spend that $18 mil this offseason on Patrick Patterson to get us over the hump.

    Disagree.

Yes the team did better than expected, but it is because the players were underrated. Who would have thought Harden, Parsons, Asik were so good, and Lin were not a fluke?

Even we have surpassed many people's prediction and did an overall good job for the whole season, we still can't use a paint brush to color it all rosy.

Are we perfect, at every game? Nobody shall be critisized and no details need to be analyzed for improvement?

The bottom line is, this team could be better and we need to correct our mistakes and improve.

    Apparently wasn't very successful.

    Logical post from the OP.

This is the world we live in now....."give it to me now and I deserve the best now".

It may take a bit longer to build "the best" this team can be but so far this season has exceeded expectations (recall the "lets tank" threads") and has been a blast.

The Lakers game last night exposed just how young we are but it should be a fun ride the rest of the way as the team matures.

This team didn't go from 42 and 43 wins to 45. The team that won 45 games this year did not exist before this season.

Clutchfans isn't fair: it's biased, in favor of the Houston Rockets.

Clutchfans has a bias for threads that are in favor of the players and coaches of the Houston Rockets.

Clutchfans has a bias for posters who favor the players and coaches of the Houston Rockets.

You say the internet has become a place of venting. But this specific node of the internet is a place for celebrating and enjoying. Since the internet generally is a place of venting, according to you, the frustrated people should be able to find other places to vent. Maybe they can make a board called Ventfans that welcomes all expressions on every topic.

    Good post, OP.

This team is young and exciting to watch, but it imcomplete and it is going to take some time to find those pieces. We can not seriously compete for anything significant when we have two offensively inept bigs starting for us. I like both Asik and Smith, but you can see what happens when the game gets tight and they are not an option of offense. It makes it tremendously difficult for Lin, Parsons and the Beard.

If we had a Lamarcus Aldrige or even Jefferson (Utah) as relieve valves inside the 3-point line, that game yesterday against the Lakers is a easy win.

For now, it is what it is, but upgrades need to be made at the PF position in the off-season.

No-matter how great you perform you should always take in critique and criticism so you can improve.

Michael Jordan would even criticize himself and his game to make sure he was constantly getting better and improving even though he was the greatest already.

There are always areas for improvement so I never see any problem with people putting their 2 cents in.

I understand sarcasm and use it myself often enough. My problem is 48000 members, countless threads, many filled with constant, ardent, and sincere BS that can make it difficult to separate the joke from the empty headed nonsense. My apologies to the member I misunderstood. It's the second time that's happened recently, so I better fine tune my sarcasm detector. ;-)-

This is normal after last 2 games self inflicted loss...just give the people 2-3 days to vent out and it will be back to normal... don't get too stressed out over it

This ^^^. I've read some stuff that was so asinine that I was sure it was a troll or sarcasm. Then five other people agreed, took the topic and ran with it. Ten pages later they're still defending the original ridiculous post while I'm scratching my head wondering if the OP is off laughing somewhere.

You can say the most outlandish thing in the world and someone, somewhere will agree with you and be happy they're not alone.
