Schedule makers were kind. Only one away and away and a 3 game homestand. Four prime time games (only one at home, but that's fair since most of our primetime games last year were at home).
Edit: BE4RD beat me to it. Oh, you mean the prime-time game at the Jets? Or the prime-time game at Chicago? Maybe the prime-time Thanksgiving game at Detroit? Or the prime-time game at New England? They had one at home, vs Green Bay. @ San Diego, @ San Francisco, vs Indianapolis, and @ Jacksonville(ha, give me a break.) That's okay. I'm not a big fan of prime-time games.
Nice schedule, but its going to a pain, waiting for the doubleheader at ,onday night, after waiting all offseason, hehe
Man that opening game is going to be a late Monday nighter.....hate having to wait that long for the season opener.....Not to mention Shaub in primetime equals garbage....
Look at who our home opponents are. A home game vs Tennessee or Jacksonville isn't cutting it. The Seattle game at home easily could be a prime time game. The late game vs New England is sorta like a national game. CBS has the doubleheader that weekend, All of the country will be getting it, except for those in Cincy and San Diego. The late game on FOX, will be shown only in Buffalo, Atlanta, San Francisco and St Louis. It is a flex game, but I think CBS will protect it.
Guys that is s tough schedule , the last five games are brutal, why do we always play the colts away towards the end.
Win Win Win Loss Loss Win Win Break Win Win Win Loss Loss Win Win Win Win 12-4(lose to top tier teams: Pats, Niners, and Seahawks and freak loss with Jags) winning both against Colts and Titans...third division title, AFC champs and Super Bowl winner...
I say 11-5 just looking at it, but seeing as how we always lose a couple we have no business losing I am going with 9-7.
I like the way the schedule is set up. We can easily be 4-0 heading into SF. Seattle at home, I like are chances in that game. After that SF game, our schedule is pretty easy, with exception to NE game at home. I'm thinking 12-4.
That schedule is a meat grinder, those games at the beginning and end of the season are bookends from hell.
The home New England game is a national TV game. It's our only 3pm national TV game all year. Pound for pound, this time slot is the overall second best game of the week (after Sunday night football) and is more prestigious than MNF and TNF. Thus we have FIVE national games this year. Also looks like the NFL is going all in with Peyton Manning and the Broncos. TEN out of their 16 games will be on national TV (i'm including the 3pm game of the week slot) and I can't believe that one of the ones that isn't is our home game against them in week 16 (CBS chose steelers packers as the feature game.. And I doubt It gets flexed over patriots ravens). They better hope he doesn't start to regress or get injured. I'm betting that last year was his last truly great year. Additionally, the cowboys have seven features games, proving that they will always be a popular choice even when they stink year after year.
