The Boston FBI director just said the bombs were placed shortly after they were detonated. Doesn't sit right with what he is implying.

I mean it's possible, but the second bomb went off shortly after. No way he ran that far and then planted the second one.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the video the FBI released seem to be close to the finish line. And both are carrying their packs at that point.
