Hmm you are right. My mistake. Just checked NBAcom & went back the last 6 years & there record in the last 10 games of the season is very meh.

    Get ready for an ass-raping~~~

Thabo goes for 30, Russ gets 45 and KD chills on the bench sipping champagne.

It doesn't even matter either way.

Sometimes they enter hot and are not so impressive...and sometimes they enter cold and turn it up to another level.

Someone on ESPN said the other night "The Spurs have us right where they want us." and I kind of agree with that for this particular season.

I mean I've been watching their games and they looked to be just going through the motions and Pop looked like he was more worried about preventing injuries and staying healthy.

I don't think the Rockets would have won. It was their best chance though but it still was a small chance IMO. They are too disciplined and over a 7 game series Popovich was going to embarrass McHale with his adjustments.

We may get hot for a game and steal one or two...but that's against any team. Against any team even the Thunder the Rockets can get red hot and unstoppable...the problem is they can also get cold and then look horrible the next minute.

Great teams take care of business ahead of time so they don't have to worry about playing their players 40 plus minutes in the last few weeks, if they don't have to. Look at Kobe, I'm not saying there is any correlation but if the team had been healthy and winning games he may not have to play as many minutes and face the injury.

With the way the season ended for James himself & the Rockets, all that "a good story line - James facing off against his former team and 'compelling' matchup" talk went out the window in a hurry. :p

Agreed. This one was one of the worse lost this season...in terms of showcasing Harden's ISOs. It would have been much nicer meeting OKC later in the rounds, perhaps the final Western round.

That's because the reality of this mismatch is finally sinking in. I don't know why anybody was hoping we would play the Thunder. There's a big difference between liking the idea of something vs. actually doing it.

Harden is gonna be humiliated bec OKC fans will keep bringing up the fact that he left the team.

Well if only he played smarter these past two games ...

McHale will be fired and Phil Jackson will coach them.. only if they get Dwight Howard.

man, if Harden gets shut down or disappears, I fear his journey to super stardom would be severely hampered due to public perception... Play offs, big stage, and playing against his old team.

Now more than ever, he will need to show the world he is a future MVP.

So we might be swept w/o people even knowing we played. No ABC games. Brilliant.

    I'm glad it's best of 7 and not one-and-done.

hopefully, we can steal 1 or 2 and make it interesting. doubt it.

harden has to be consistent and efficient for us to have a chance. he also has to stick to his man on defense and not let them hit open 3s

    also pray

Russ gets 45 points? Good, with his 53.5%TS it'd take him 30 shots to get to 45 points and we would actually have a chance to win.
