Now everyone wants to hide from that BS that Asik is better than Dwight and we don't need Dwight. I hope ur newbies now realize the importance of a post game and why PnR doesn't work. LeBron and Dwade learn that when losing to Dallas and that's why LeBron came to Houston to work with Hakeem on how to score in the post.

All I'm saying is that we need post presence in Houston to make it happen!!! Asik and/or Smith are not the answer period.

yesterday was a massive setback for what little chance we had of getting Dwight

    For sure.
Hope everyone realizes that now. We had more then just a playoff seeding at stake. And we blew it big time.

Why would he leave a team that, when not even healthy, totally outplays the team that is supposedly a better fit for him?

    ******* it.

He's gonna be the man in LA, now. You think after the ORL debacle, he wants to go through that again? Highly doubt he leaves LA, even with Mike D back.

Dwight doesn't want to play with that selfish chucking flopper in Harden. If he hated playing with Kobe he's gonna hate playing with Harden.

Wait, did the Rockets play the Lakers minus Howard? Otherwise, I'm not sure what you're getting at. The point is that the Rockets' roster without Howard is better than the Lakers' roster without Howard. I'm not sure why what the Lakers did with Howard shows much of anything on a comparative basis.

Stern shut down the paint. Dwight was just elbowing fools. If Dwight was still on Orlando those would all have been fouls.

That performance in the 2nd half last night swayed me completely. He shut down our attacks to the rim, and really didn't get away with any blatant foul calls.

Add to the fact that he's superior rolling to the basket and finishing, and he's a no-brainer over Asik.

I'd love to find a way to get Gasol if Dwight doesn't happen too. And if there is a way to get both of them, I'm all for it.

if the rockets can't land howard, they will need a consistent scoring punch down low next season....if they can get al jefferson for like 3yr/24mil, that would be real nice...despite his bad defense...at least he can rebound and score.

Both are true. Dwight did a tremendous job, but there were definitely 3 plays down the stretch where he committed blatant fouls that would be whistled in any other jersey. Still, even taking those into an account, he changes the game defensively -- that much was obvious. He's head and shoulders above Omer.
