Not to hate on Kenny, but he was incredibly streaky as well. He also got manhandled by Derek Harper in the Knicks series. Still, his shooting in game 1 of the Orlando series was pretty incredible.
Lin's shooting has been fine lately. I have no complaints. If anything he just needs to work on his consistency and not disappearing at times. He'll get there though...dude is young.
Headed in to the Finals, Rockets fans were like like oh crap, Kenny vs Penny Hardaway! History lesson, before Hardaway turned into Hurtalways, he was considered the next Magic Johnson. But then Kenny knew something that Hardaway didn't, he knew that he was part of Clutch City. It's in the hearts of the Rockets and the hearts of Rockets fans. Then Kenny realized that nothing can stop Clutch City. especially in 95, they've got the Clutchest players in the world.
Thanks for keep the post count up on my threads Look at Kenny's assists to turnovers and shooting percentage
"Don't ever..." <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/5-1jgNhopNo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
thanks. For the Kenny Smith reference for the newbs Kenny had a similar scenario. Rudy T liked to play Scott Brooks and then later Sam Cassell more minutes in the 4th
Cassell is a better comparison to Lin. Smith was an experienced veteran. Cassell was a young player who was fearless on the big stage.
big difference is kenny was shooting wide open 3s because dream was in the post which drew defenders away from him unlike Harden who works at the top of the key and drains the entire shot clock while not drawing a double and if nothing happens passes the ball to Lin with 5 seconds or less and puts him in horrible offensive situation. crap thread.
Kenny Smith did more than just jack up 3 pointers. That so happens to be his most famous moment because it was the NBA Finals. Newb you know nothing about Kenny Smith. You don't know about Kenny and Otis on the pick and roll. You don't know about leadership and confidence of his teammates. You don't know that Kenny was in the slam dunk and 3 point shooting contest. you want to go at me about Kenny? Bring it newb.
im new to clutch fans but not new to the rockets or city of houston. Ive lived here my entire life. yes kenny smith's main production is shooting wide open 3s because of hakeem. Its a COMPETENT OFFENSIVE SYSTEM THAT WORKS unlike mcfail and his iso ball.
