I'm very glad we got Harden, but right now he's got way too much Kobe in his game. Even when he scores with his 1 on 1 hero ball, he's taking every other Rocket on the floor out of their game. We win when the ball moves. And I just don't know how to explain why he holds the ball so long before he makes his move at the end of quarters. He's been doing that all year and it leaves him no options if his first move doesn't work.
I heard this morning on 790 that apparently McHale has told Harden to stop taking the end of shot clock 3 and instead drive to the basket and he just won't do it.
did you see the last play in the 4th that would've cost the team the game and the ball just not bounced to the right people and Parsons hit the ugliest 3 you'll ever see?? If you take every last second shot you'll hit a couple...but I cant recall many games where he just poured it on and scored the final 12 points or whatever to lead the team to victory.

A coach that knows what he is doing will make this team more productive. There is no way you can have the talent we presently have on this team and not be more consistent. I know the past is over but I wonder what Adelman could have done with this team. Making the point again as it has been said before Harden is not close to being the problem with this team.

Harden gets fouled a lot, shot attempts on fouls get counted too so that is not his true shooting percentage. Most of them are fakes to get the person to commit and are counted as shot attempts, thats how he gets to the line.
I love Harden being on the rockets. I think he is an ideal piece to build around. But I lived through Dribblemania. I'm seeing some reoccurrence of that with Harden. That needs to be nipped in the bud now. (For folks that don't know what Dribblemania is, please look up old Steve Francis highlights where he eats up a ton of shot clock holding the ball or dribbling in place while trying to decide what to do.)
