Should've been us playing the Spurs...goddamnit. I wake up and the ache is still there from last night.
I think the difference in the series will be execution. I know the Spurs can execute down the stretch. I'm not so sure about a Kobe-less Lakers squad in their first year with Mike D'antoni.
I think the Lakers have a good chance. Gasol and Howard will be a lot for Duncan to handle as great as he is.

Morey: Lakers no chance to beat ‘machine-like’ Spurs http://blog.mysanantonio.com/spursn...-lakers-no-chance-to-beat-machine-like-spurs/
According to Kobe Wankers on this board, Kobe will inspire the Lakers to win from his home and unarguable to be the Finals MVP should the Lakers won it all.
I disagree with Morey and most of you guys. The Lakers are old and injured just like the Spurs. It's a good matchup for them or any low seed in the first round. It should've been us. OKC is the far tougher first round matchup
