I have a bad feeling that he will look out of sync most of the series against OKC.

Beverly will foul out before half time if he has to guard Russ.

Like how Lin dropped 29 and 9 last time they met? Right.

In hindsight, McHale clearly should've not sat Lin out for AN ENTIRE QUARTER when Lin was 2/2 right before that point and was 4/9 for 12 points and 6 assists/1TO.

I love the idea of Bev on Westbrook....Westbrook is a ticking time bomb, remember Goran (i think it was him) getting under his skin for a T last year?

Well nobody gets under our opponents skin more than Bev. I can't wait to see him frustrate Westbrook

Beverly wasn't playing that well to warrant staying in though. Both times he came in the leads that the Rockets had began to shrink. Part of that was the other players on the court but Beverly didn't have a great game on either side of the ball last night. I don't think McHale did anything wrong with the minutes he gave Beverly or Lin.

Beverly's bad fouls were one of the keys in the Lakers comeback.

Honestly, that has been his major flaw.

He tends to be over-aggressive. He needs to learn that when we are winning, and they are in the penalty, you can't be sending their guards (best free throw shooters) to the line.

But who can really? It isn't so much who's guarding Westbrook but Westbrook himself. He is incredibly volatile.

Anyway, if OKC beats HOU, which in all likelihood they would, it would simply be because OKC is a far superior team.

    ^ this

Some really overrate Bev's defensive ability

Can someone name any starting PG , Bev shutdown , who was not named Ben Udrich or Mike James

Bev's job is to out play OKC's R.Jackson in upcoming series

that is what he is. his agressiveness makes rox fans excited and believe he is great at defense. his defense is kinda pest style, making you uncomfortable. it is good against backup pg but for those veterans and great pg. the style is not going to work very well. i don't think his defense is great. at best, his defense is abover average.

Just like he has looked out of sync most of this season?

Well, we're going to know for sure pretty soon, because I expect we'll see a lot of Beverly in this playoff series. McHale is certain to try out a number of backcourt matchups.

I wouldn't be surprised if he baits Westbrook into atleast one T. His pressure on D is similar to what Dragic gave him last year.

Beverley is not going to stop Westbrook, but he will make him work harder than Jeremy would.

did you watch the three games vs okc this season.
the first one, was pretty good d by lin forced him into 4 turnovers, raphael finished with 14 points on 15 shots.

the second game, westbrook annihilated lin with 28 points.

the third game lin outplayed him.

seems like your eye tests are full of fail.

In order to win the matchup BOTH lin and beverely have to come to play.
