The only person to blame for this loss is McFail.....rode Beverley way too long and depending on Harden to bail him out. You want to win games like this one....you ride your best players to death. Coach D did with his players....

Maybe if they ran plays for Harden and Lin they would be playing better. Instead it's always ISO ball in the 4th quarter with someone jacking up a desperation 3 pointer and usually airballing it.

I will sleep well knowing that my Rockets would have won, and would be a top 6 team in the West, if not for this idiotic Coach.

With ESPN broadcast, at least the entire nation will see the incompetence of McFail ball with Gasol matched up against Delfino in the post.

When it boils down to it, the game was lost mostly due to Hardens inefficient shot selection and horrible offensive structure/rotations by the coaching staff (Mchale) throughout the ENTIRE game. Harden had a lot to do with with the stagnant ball movement but i put this blame more on Mchale. Our offensive system is sometimes TOO player dominant. We're at our best when we're pushing the pace and have body movement not just ball movement, which Mchale preaches. In crunch time defenses lock down and get back in transition so that requires us to have disciplined half court execution to create a high percentage shot. ISO situations become a product of our player dominant offense when players are given that much freedom. This is when the coaching staff needs to enforce half court sets and make adjustments with player rotations. Because of Mchale's INABILITY to draw up half court sets and out-of-bounds plays we end up repeating the same mistakes throughout the entire game, thus resulting in last second, poorly spaced, predictable, ISO heavy type shot selections. The entire game was difficult to watch besides the bright spots of Chandler Parsons playing within the system, Omer's post defense on Dwight, and Bev's hustle. Besides that, we stunk it up. But no worries we're still in the playoffs!

Two most important games, and McHale still couldn't stagger Lin / Harden

yeah, he is a scapegoat, because hes complete garbage, I can bring in a bum off the street to brick 20 shots and turn it over...OKC is going to humiliate him, absolutely erase him from this planet...a Lin/Parsons partnership with an allstar calibre PF (ie. L. Aldridge) would make this rockets team top 4 in the west. Instead we have this one dimensional shot jacking clown holding back the potential of this team

Here's a scary thought: Harden is a maximum player next year. Imagine all the bashing if he has an off night. CF will explode.

YOU ARE RIGHT BUT IT IS THE TRUTH. I TRULY BELIEVE THAT A DIFFERENT COACH WILL BE BETTER FOR THE PLAYERS AND THEIR FUTURE WITH THE ROCKETS. ALL THESE YEARS, I HAVE NEVER COMPLAINED ABOUT A ROCKET COACH UNTIL THIS YEAR. MCHALE IS LUCKY THAT MOREY GOT HARDEN, OTHERWISE, HE WOULD BE FIRED BY NOW. MCHALE HAS NO GAMEPLAN, NO PLAYBOOK BUT THIS ONE:
    MCHALE'S SECRET PLAYBOOK:

seriously, we should be happy and lucky that we didn't collapse until the last 3 games. have we had a few more games to play we would have done exactly same as the last year.

No he didn't...you are correct. I watched it in slow mo and DH going up off the floor originally has his arms straight up (on the way up) BUT on the way down that same left arm comes down hard across Harden's arm. Pictures don't lie.

See after every lost game, our players always take the responsibility while our coach pushed the blame on the players, smh
