doesn't matter, Harden was looking for that call, you want your ace going for the basket not to get bailed out by the ref

I don't blame him. This is the one of the worst losses this season.
Two of the most important games of the season. Two big consecutive losses caused by our great Coach of the Year.:rolleyes:

I didn't mean to make it seem like I was blasting you. Just emotions running high man and I hate how we, as a Rockets fan site, are split up by this trivial BS. We should all be Rockets fans and embrace eachother. The good times and bad.

I know, I remember the good ones. But THIS was the biggest game of all season. And we blew it. Harden, Lin, McHale...ugh.

The last 2 games were lost on the Coach.

For 2 games straight, coaches experimented with Parsons-led offense to start the 4th quarter for too long (8 min and 7 min).

Tonight the Lakers took the lead with 18-10 run to make the score 84-81 with 6 min left in 4Q.

Lin was iced cold starting from 4 min mark in the 3Q to 6 min mark in the 4Q.

Struggling Harden (13-43 in the last 2 games) was forced to make plays but just couldn't pull it off at the end of two games. That's on the coaches' shoulder of forcing him to make plays.

    They need to:
    1. start coaching to run plays and
    2. not iced the other best playmaker in Lin
    3. stop making Parsons the 2nd PG after Harden.

On another news, Phil Jackson is interested in coaching again in the NBA next season.

Lin was totally cold from sitting for ten minutes straight. A ten point cushion disappeared because McHale kept Beverley in there for almost a whole quarter. Blake was using multiple screens and scoring on him. Before the 3rd quarter substitution, Blake had 14 points, and not all on Lin. When Beverley was in, Blake scored another 8 points. Lin kept Blake to 2 points after he finally came back in the 4th. The keeping Beverley in for defense excuse does not fly.

It was a miracle Parson’s made that shot to even get it to OT. BUT, If coaching stays with these long stretches where Beverley is in there because they think his defense is going to produce better results than playmaking, this team is going nowhere, in the playoffs or not. Then there’s Harden’s ridiculous ISOs and keeping the ball until the last 3 or 4 seconds, which ended up with other guys, including Lin, heaving up desperate attempts. It just makes both players, Harden and Lin, look horrible.

Yes Howard and Gasol came up huge for LA. But this game was in Houston’s hands. McHale’s continuing dumb decision of sitting the starting PG almost a whole quarter, which just led to him being cold and totally out of rhythm, isn’t going to help this team in the playoffs.

Playing OKC is the worst scenario. Now it’s a “Harden-vs-his-old-team” showcase. Potentially an ISO fest, and Westbrook eating Lin alive fest. I really think this team has talent. But talent can only go as far as coaching’s ability optimize that talent when it counts. So far I don’t see the head coach with that potential.

    I never even bashed Lin.

I said Lin missed a few open shots.

    That's it.

You can try and find all the posts where I ever bashed Lin. In fact the only player I really bashed was Patterson and his no rebounding self. But I understand that not everyone plays perfectly all the time and the team is what they are at the end of the year, which is a super young team that made the playoffs.

Lin should be mentally prepared to come in at all times, that's on him. His bricks, his tos, that's on him. He has to own that. But don't tell me that McHale didn't practically give him a show of no confidence, ruin the young man's confidence, and misutilize him. Don't tell me that McHale led a young team who shouldn't even be in the playoffs into the playoffs so it's all good. I'm a puke if you do.

And don't get this twisted. McHale has done this to Lin all year long. Most of you guys were so busy hating on Lin fans, many of them trolls, while not acknowledging the truth. That McHale has disrespected Lin's game and constantly ruined his rhythm and confidence throughout the year. And this affects the Rockets so much as we need all the weapons we have working in tiptop condition to achieve anything.

We almost had it but our inexperience cost us in the end.

It sucks that we didn't get the win but more than that I'm proud of what the team has been able to do. Could they have played better and won more games than they should have lost? Yes, but for a team that was given to just weeks before the season to figure itself out and not given much of a chance to make the playoffs, this has been incredible and inspite of the growing pains, we're the youngest team in the league and in the playoffs!

We're headed into the first round against a team that was also young and developing not too long ago, so I'm very positive about what we can do in the coming years; hope we get the upset but if not, the future looks bright for the Rockets.

Time to shock the world and #BeatOKC!!!
