But that's not quite fair either. Just cuz we don't have NBA experience or the pedigree that McHale does (and who btw does??), it does not mean that we can't point out mistakes made or being made. Does that also mean, Isaiah's front office decisions were above reproach, since he is a HOF player with years and years of NBA experience? It's not fair, and coachbadlee correctly pointed out that sometimes laymen like us can see things that coaching staff sometimes seem to miss or do you also think that McHale always knows more than us and therefore we're not allowed to complain about his questionalbe rotations? But point taken. I do know that McHale knows more than I ever will. Just as an aside, I've played with Jacque Vaughn (Orlando Magic head coach) and Arthur Lee (Standford pg) back in the days, and hung out with them all the time. I didn't think they "knew" basketball or loved it more than me then either, lol. And in the end, it's just my opinion.
His postgame interviews are full of sarcasm He was better as a color commentator on TV than a coach Maybe he can switch roles with JVG ?
Regardless of today's outcome, it must be noted that McHale's small ball lineup to start the 4th is not a productive group.
It works in some cases. He uses it whether it's one of those cases or not. I'd suggest most junior high head coaches could tell you that against a Howard-Gasol-Jamison frontline is probably not such a case.
There is not enough words to describe how much this game is on Mchale...Mchale cost the Rockets...tremendously...The Rockets dominated this game...and then he lost his damn mind...wtfffffffffffffffffffff
