Captain Obvious, this is like saying Heat is gonna win the Finals this year. Time for people to realize that!

Beat LA tonight and Howard would be disappointed and leave LA.

During the first game break (that didn't go to commercial, Asik may have been bleeding), did anyone see Lin and Dwight chatting with Dwight smiling and Lin laughing? Steve Blake pulled Dwight aside right away... LOL. He wants to come to Houston.

I would love to see Howard sign with Houston but I don't care if he doesn't. I do however want to see them get someone with an elite post game. This team has no ability to work inside/out when they need to.

    Dream Scenario:
    Sign Howard
Trade Asik+Dmo for Re-signed Josh Smith
Atlanta will do this if they know they are losing Smith. This allows them to move Horf to the 4 where he really should play.
Pick up a solid wing defender. ala Tony Allen, Battier, Dudley type.

    Howard/G.Smith
    J.Smith/T.Jones/T-Rob
    Parsons/Delfino
    Harden/Wing Defender X/ Anderson
    Lin/Beverly

If I'm Dwight I'm really liking the Rockets as a go-to team.

They are just doubling him all game and if he's on the Rockets, he'll have Harden to kick out to every double team. With Kobe still on the team Dwight will be the one (and only) option salarycap wise on the Lakers.

If Asik had better hands, and was a tad more athletic i would say screw Dwight

    I still say screw Howard.

I'd focus on other needs if I were Mauri.

No reason to have Delfino playing the PF position with T. Jones on the bench

At this point D'Antoni is looking like the better coach out of him and McHale. Sad. Hopefully that's not a factor for Dwight.

Well, Dwight Howard without Kobe and Nash got the Lakers into the playoffs. Now imagine him on a team that is capable of winning 44 games without him, a legit scoring option who's not a dick, a true backup center, and shooters all of the lineup to space the floor.

I'd rather have a good Power forward than Howard at this point in time.

    Now he definitely isn't coming.

Might as well lock it up. We blew our chance at more than just going for a possible upset in the playoffs.

Why would Dwight Howard want to sign with this team now? Pau Gasol has more talent than the entire Rockets team combined.

Bring in Dwight and start TJ at PF next season. Those two would have block parties in the lane every night...
