And not to put to fine a point on this or anything: ...but somebody should tell Coach Popovich just exactly who it is he's signed onto his model franchise. Popovich actually said that he thinks Tracy McGrady - TRACY MCGRADY - is a good person. Something just doesn't make sense. Does Popovich know about CluthcFans.net? Should we all do the nice thing and warn him of his error? Or do we all grab some popcorn and giggle while we watch the impending train wreck?

he is a good person from what I can tell. he has done a ton of charity work, especially for Darfur. their was a non proft documentary about his efforts.
Maybe in the eastern conference. He had a better supporting cast in Cleveland and did less. But yeah, it's stupid to compare Lebron to T-mac. LeBron might be the best ever.
Comparing T-Mac and LeBron is crazy. LeBron, arguably the best player ever...ever. T-Mac one of the best players that had individual accolades, but always failed in the playoffs. T-Mac is the guy you compare others in the same boat to. Unfortunately, anyone in the future who has amazing skills and underachieves will be compared to McGrady. Much like great champs are compared to MJ, Kobe, Bill Russell, etc. It is what it is. I really liked T-Mac while he was with the team, and always wished him well elsewhere. For me, it'll be like when Francis and Mobley were traded. I wanted them to play well, even against the Rockets, but not so well as to beat the Rockets. I think it'll be awesome if he does anything of any significance, but I care much more about what our team is going to do!
When its all said and done Lebron might actually be the GOAT. I laughed at people that said that before, but lebron dominating this league for another 8 yrs and winning championships is pretty realistic the way he is an echelon above everybody else.
