It's gotta be the old guy in the blue sweater.

The guy in the blue fleece looks very suspicious.

He's holding that bag very gingerly (he's cradling it, and not wearing it over his back, which, considering if it were a high explosive, you would NEVER do), and it appears to be quite heavy.

Plus he looks very disheveled and is paying no attention to the race itself, as if he doesn't belong there.

Plus, he's using one hand to almost hold up the arm-you would do that if holding a bag on that part of your arm.

If by "kicking major ass," you mean 14 year-olds stirring up frivolous controversy while teams of trained agents with sophisticated software scour 1000x the data/pictures in Quantico?

Then yea... that is "kicking major ass."

not to mention the FBI may not want the person to know they've been ID'd before apprehending them

A fat 40-year old man was watching a marathon, alone?
    That indeed sounds very suspicious.

from the subreddit, someone did a photosynth (which i know nothing about), but embed here:

    <iframe frameborder="0" src="http://photosynth.net/embed.aspx?cid=47514acc-0e75-4f52-9044-4620b880d441&delayLoad=true&slideShowPlaying=false" width="500" height="300"></iframe>

in the frame with the four signs, in the background, there's a dude in a black hood, with green eyes...wth?

Plus, it's an odd way to be holding the backpack, too, imo. In other photos, as well, he's holding it down low with two arms, as if it's heavy.

really. I'm thinking the complete opposite. Looks like he's holding it with two arms to me in a way that suggests heavy. Plus, he's keeping it low, maybe because it is awkwardly bulky as well.

^ look at Cowboy Bebop's photo before my post. The picture on the right shows him gripping one arm with another. Looks like he's straining to hold something up to me.

What a totally appropriate and mature response to a rather innocuous observation.

I see what you are saying but look at the strap in the yellow circle. I would think that crease would be stretched out if it was heavy.
