Don't try to frighten us with your sorcerer's ways, Lord Vader. Your sad devotion to that ancient Jedi religion has not helped you conjure up the stolen data tapes, or given you enough clairvoyance to find the rebels' hidden fortress

This is what always confused me. . .
They talked like the Jedi had died out like hundreds of years ago
and was the story of myths . . .when it was less than 20 yrs prior.

    RIP Mr. LeParmentier

Just pretend the prequel trilogy didn't happen and it all works.

I guess because their were so few left that no one had truly witnessed the power of a real Jedi master.... idk.

Besides that RIP to the guy getting imaginarily chocked in the movie.

No, it's because Lucas messed up the timeline with the prequels.

When the original trilogy was shot it was not intended for Anakin to have been a little boy pew-pewing through the galaxy in a fighter jet like it was a toy and then fighting in the clone wars as a member of NSync.

Lucas decided he wanted to go super kid friendly so he messed up the timeline.

He's younger than I would have thought. He was only 31 when he made that movie. To have already been made Admiral by the age of 31 is quite an accomplishment. RIP.
