[NEWS] Explosions near Boston Marathon Finish Line (UPDATE: MIT/Watertown shootout w/ suspects)

Stuff like this makes me really uneasy. We have a ton of amateur slueths out there looking a possible suspects and posting pictures online. I'm getting worried that some vigilantes could take it into their heads to go after guys who look like the people in the photos and/or have bags that look like that on nothing more than just these photos.

For anyone that saw the movie Summer of Sam I am worried about a situation where some guys beat up a guy in their neighborhood, that they knew, just because they thought he looked like the sketch of the Son of Sam.

 

CNN reporting they've arrested the suspect Clutch mentioned.

CNN says the Lord and Taylor video shows a man placing a bag at the second site and backing away.

 

One logic I didn't understand was the not watching the race thing. I can almost gurantee you that at the Toyota center, for 48 minutes, my eye was not on the court, not on the Spalding.

My eyes would wonder off and say, damn who is that chick coming out of the tunnel, who is that chick coming from the Lexus lounge. Must be a Jordan Hill groupie.

 

Apparently a suspect has been arrested.

We've been through this before. Dark skin does not automatically mean guilty.

 

4chan is going to break, and help this story. I would rather have these pictures going to people without agendas, although I know that the FBI, and all have the pics to view as well. It looks like men dressed in Navy seals in one of those 4chan pics, if anyone could confirm that the hat one of the two men in black jackets, and backpacks, and on the phone were wearing was indeed a Navy Seal hat. It looks like a punisher hat, but that isn't it, the punisher is based off of that hat.

Anyways, I know some think my ideas of this being a bit weird after hearing straight from a friend there at mile 26, and some conflicting news outlets makes me not exactly trust CNN, and the government in this.

They said it was only "a drill stay calm." If I could show you a text that my friend was sent I would, but it's their texts not mine, but it goes like this: from their friend at 2:54 it is unreal, in brief it reads "Get our stuff, and get out something is happening, and the time stamp is before the first bomb." They evacuated two places, as has been confirmed by someone who also had someone they knew at a hotel/restaurant. So I don't know if that was what was up, but this is straight from the people I knew that were there, one a dear friend.

Who is CNN going to show who was arrested, but wow! Horrible, and sick whoever did this, and I hope the non-agenda based news outlets get to the bottom of this.

God bless all the people that died from this disgusting, horrible tragedy, and critically injured people that are in so much need of prayers.

The toll will rise unfortunately because of the mass people in critical condition. God bless them all, and god bless us all. Over the last 15 years "Peace" is just not there, and over the past year, it's just disgusting. I was under a lockdown procedure in March bc of some "potential crazy person." Nothing happened, thank god, and I didn't hear anything about it again. It's become so sick over just this past year at the horrible tragedies that have happened.

God be with them, and all those affected by the tragedy.

Wtf is the motive of these people? They ended up finding 7 bombs (other than the two that exploded), correct? A lot of people were in on it.

What happened to the last suspect was unfair and I was right.

You're getting there with your opinions on there. All I can say is this looks like a team, and their were spotters, and bomb sniffing dogs. It wasn't just a "Dark skinned man that did it." What you said is exactly right, it doesn't mean guilty. In fact I think they are going to blame one white guy when the arrest info. comes up. This looks like a team, and a strong team.

 

there were initial reports of 5 additional bombs; these reports were later amended. at this point, word is there were only the two bombs, which were detonated.

 

The governor announced yesterday there were only two.
