I think you just read it wrong. I believe he was saying "sure, it was al Qaeda, sure it was" in reference to the two guys

 

Why the quickness to yell "racial profiling" when it comes to Arabs, but yet with the same quickness, speculate that it's some white pro gun nut or anti-government tax guy?

Maybe because people don't usually think of pro gun nut or anti government nut when it comes to a bombing? An Arab dude got tackled for running...from an explosion! Lol for looking suspicious (or middle eastern). And how many pro gun nuts or anti government tax looking guys were escorted off a plane, recently?

 

Does anyone know how long after the bombing this video was taken? In many big races like this there is a lot of swag handed out to runners and a lot of the people in the video look like they are still wearing running shorts and / or warmups. These might've been people who ran the race and / or their friends getting jackets as part the race swag.

The other possibility might be that with the bombing the race organizers just went ahead and let anyone there help themselves to the swag. Rather than just limit it to racers.

I said this in the D&D thread but I get the feeling it is going to be a long while before we catch whoever did this. If it is the work of one or two people and not an organization it is going to be difficult to catch them. Most likely the guys who did this were also wearing some sort of disguise like the Unabomber and even with him he wasn't caught until his brother turned him in.

Just like those stores owners who left thier shelves stocked to help Hurricane victims. I love making excuses for people but it's sad to notice the difference in tone and language used to describe the same actions in two different events by two kinds of people.

Maybe? They probably just didn't care because they were too busy helping out civilians with missing limbs at the time of the explosion.

 

Those guys might be looters but there might be a perfectly innocent explanation for what is going on. As another poster noted they aren't acting like typical looters, and I am not talking about skin color, there is no urgency about how they are going about things and you can clearly see many of them are even digging through the boxes looking for the right size and not just grabbing as many jackets as they could.

 

cmon, when someone says pro gun nut, you know exactly what image it conjures up. Just like if someone said ghetto.

 

All that means is that even when looting, white people are picky.
