I'm somewhat in the same boat as you and taking a break from smoking. I started relying on pot too much as a sleep aid and I was unable to go to sleep without it. In addition to this it was starting to make me paranoid. I would be high and have a great time for around 30-40 minutes then I would start getting paranoid about things that happened throughout the day, and just life in general. I was smoking for about 3 months daily through. Currently 3 days without smoking and relying on ambien to sleep. I need to break away from ambien soon though before I get addicted to that though.
When that would happen to me, I'd just ask myself if the stuff I'm worrying about while high would be something that I would worry about when I wasn't. Usually the answer was no, so I'd quit worrying about it and enjoy my buzz. It would also help if I got out of the house; take the dog for a walk, go play some ball, etc. Give yourself something else to think about and the anxiety will disappear. Easier said than done, but it works for me. Also, the type of bud you are smoking helps too. I noticed the paranoia was more frequent with schwag, but far less frequent with kind.
I smoked a handful of times growing up but stopped when I hit my early 20's after getting paranoid a few times(Will go back to it when I'm my own boss) and this is very true. Schwag just doesn't get you high enough and you tend to think too much about it. Hydro gets you so high you don't stand a chance of thinking too much about it.
Take a good long break from it.....6 months or so. Work on some of that stuff that's bothering you. Also, certain strands will wind you up more than others.....even top shelf. For all those that have sleep issues......a couple of drops of tincture does wonders for that. If you can't get that, vaporize a bowl of stems. You won't get high, but you'll sleep damn good. But like any sleep aid, you can't do it every night.
Different strains have different effects. Indica is for pain and stress relief and sleep-aid(body relaxation) Sativa is for mind relaxation Thats the formula we used to always use. That is only helpful if you can pick and choose what you are getting..otherwise you are left to have whatever your supplier has at the time.
anyone have the magic flight launch box? $80 seems like a great deal considering how popular it seems to be, just wondering if anyone here has tried it.
does it reek when you use it? just wondering...i've heard some people bring it to movie theaters, but the instructional video made it look like there's a ton of thick vapor when you exhale. bought it online yesterday, excited to try it out.
I know a person who has used hers in the movies, at a crowded outdoor music venue and even sitting on a sofa next to someone who didn't notice. It just makes a little steam if you don't over heat it. She says it's very economical, only vaping about a gram a week recreationally, but that the buzz is very different, all head no body. She uses a coffee grinder to reduce her herb to a fine powder and gets about five lung fulls of sippy puffs per trough. Enough for one full evening. She is saving all her vaped herb and plans to tincture it with 151 rum this summer to add to her fruity beach drinks. She is very happy with hers though she uses other methods when sharing with friends. She would be very unhappy with me publicly posting all her information if it weren't directly for you FB.

I can totally admit to this. I excel in science, english, psychology, philosophy and all the other various subject when high.. However I cannot do math, I'm like a first grader just trying to do multiplication for the first time.. thats how bad I get It's weird how I can get so bad at one thing and then become overwhelmingly better at the other things.
