I can't wait for the offseason when we (rockets) throw our quartet of PF kids into the ring and see who emerges as the bonafide starter next year.

I think it will be more than just a quartet. Parsons, Ohlbrecht, White (LOL), potential draft pick, and a potential FA/traded player could also play role into who is starting at PF.

Don't sleep on Parsons as a PF.

    T. Jones was clutch on defense last night, got some highlight reel blocks on Demarcus Cousins  His jumpshot was off, 3-pointers were way off target, maybe he's lost the shooting touch he got in the D-League.:(

His form is not that of a natural shooter. Unless he changes his form it will never be consistent.

I agree with this. He's got to smooth out the stroke and speed it up. And he's got to work on his feet. He's almost shooting that J with his legs crossed.

Back to back 5 blk games is legit. A little alarmed that he has had two poor rebounding games but other than that he's been effective and scoring around the rim. Tjones and Trob are gonna be legit starters IMO. gsmith is a good off the bench guy, dmo I don't think is ever gonna amount to anything he doesn't show me anything on the court. He absolutely drives me crazy, looks like he's gonna be back in Europe after his rookie contract. He doesn't strike me as a guy who will take riding the bench again next year very well. I feel he thinks he's alot better than he really is.

Liking him more and more. Wish McHale would have played him more in the 4th. I really think he could develop to be our future PF.

Ya me to. I really think him and Trob can develop into the future pfs this teams been needing. I'd like to see asik/Trob starting next season with jones backing up the 3-5 getting 30 min a night off the bench. I really think once the game slows down for Trob he can be an elite scorer at the pf spot, something that this team really needs. His feel for the game is unique he's a really good passer and knows how to draw fouls and create shots for himself. If him and tjones can work on there shooting and finishing around the rim (jones is already pretty good at this) then the rockets are set at pf for the next 10 yrs.

Dmo would be so productive if they utilized him in the post.

T Jones deserves a lot of credit. Its a shame that he was not given a chance to start at the beginning of the season. He was one of the 3 best players in the summer lg and he was our best pf in preseason.

We finally have a power forward who tries to play like a power forward. I love it.

Wish Robinson/DMo showed more. They've been highly disappointing thus far.

Jones has been the main bright spot closing out the regular season. It's also shedding light on the Rockets staff inability to know the personnel they have. Since summer league a lot of fans could see Jones was the most ready to contribute of all the young PFs, why couldn't the coaching staff see this??? He would have been even more advanced and confident at this point if he was allowed to play.

He was giving a chance by Sampson, but when McHale returned he started playing a lot of small ball with Delfino on the floor as the 4 which left no room for TJ and D-Mo...
