Don't knowing anything about coaching, but I don't like and don't understand the point guard by committee concept.
They have shown they can play well together though. It's just a matter of finding a balance. Lin needs to learn to stay aggressive at all times, and to his credit he's improved greatly in playing off the ball. He moves a lot more now instead of just standing there. Still needs lot of work, but they should be fine after a training camp together. If anything, I don't think Parsons and Lin are good together (sorry to all the Lin/Parsons shippers). Lin already has to take a backseat to Harden (as he should) but with Parsons out there Lin's role is even more diminished almost to the point of useless. Once again it's up to them and the coaching staff to find a balance between all 3, though I firmly believe Parsons should never ever handle the ball.
is is all coaching man. we have seen it this regular season. he depends too much on harden to rescue him until harden drops death. his basic play is HARDEN ISO.
Phoenix is at the bottom of the Western Conference. We lost one of the biggest games of the season against possibly the worst team in the league.
OMR - You don't think they'll be MUCH improved next year?? This has been a huge learning experience for these young players; they've gotten better and better throughout the season. Haven't reached that next level yet, but the 2013-14 season they should show mental and physical progress...don't you think?
lol eff off? necessary? sorry I don't sit around reading advanced stats and an NBA rule book. get a life
Why did we sign AB if we aren't even going to play him!! We needed scoring with Harden playing like garbage, and yet, McHale refuses to play him. I honestly hope McHale is gone after the playoffs.
SAY SOMETHING, MOREY! FINALLY! ASIK is our leading rebounder but the coach put him on the bench. He looked sad and dazed.
What I understand is that half what you post is feces. The Rockets are not getting out of the first round period. They match up poorly against Denver, injuries or no injuries. Obviously I would rather have the 6th seed, but it makes little material difference in the outcome for this season. What you and others should be worried about is Harden's health, because if he isn't 100% the Rockets have a snowballs chance in hell against anyone.
he hasn't guarded him well this season, and he has so little strength in his leg atm, that he can't even dunk. We need to hit shots and Asik needs to play well.
That's really fair. 8/19 is 42%. Not great, but not horrible. Does that comment cut the other way when Lin has a poor shooting game and Harden shoots decently? If not, then that comment isn't very constructive. Only 2 starters had poor shooting nights tonight. Harden (5/18) and Greg Smith (2/6). Every other player on the team shot decently except Dmo (0/1). Either way, Harden had an off game. That's going to happen. It's still on McHale to work around players when they have those kinds of games. Hot Hand apparently applies to everyone except James Harden.
