since Golden State controls there own destiny we should just sit our 3 main guys for our last game against the lakers. we just look sluggish out there. we dont look like the same fast pace team we used to be at the beginning of the year. truthfully i think we can be the spurs or okc. denver not so much. just an opinion

How many times are we allowed to use this excuse?

Seriously, every time we lay an egg out there it's because we "looked tired". It's not an excuse for a team trying to maintain seeding in the playoffs. We can't go out there and do what we just did against bottom-feeders like the Suns. It's unacceptable and certainly inexcusable.

Agreed. They didn't even play much yesterday, they should have been ready for tonight's game.

    They were not tired.

Suns played really hard and wanted it more. Harden didn't get the whistles he used to, as a warmup experience for how playoff games are like.

I think we'd rather win than play the Thunder. Let's beat LA.

Harden got plenty of whistles, he shot 11 free throws.

If you're tired and gotta re-charge your battery, you're in the WRONG BUSINESS!

We aren't working double shifts, laying cement, or building houses. We're playing basketball for a living. You should get up each morning and thank God.

If you gotta re-charge your battery, YOU'RE IN THE WRONG BUSINESS. PERIOD.:mad:

Aww the tired excuse is getting played out. Rox played like a team playing out the schedule and the Suns looked like they were fighting for playoff positioning. This game was an absolute embarrassment.

Do I have to reiterate that first off it's a 2nd night of a back to back AND Harden was hobbled by a nagging knee after banging it with Scola in the 2nd Q? He had 12 in the 1st Q, and had 3 the rest of the way. If he's fine by Wed, we should be good to beat the Lakers. Plus, bad FT shooting and Asik was MIA (14 mins??).

Scola kept taking his lunch money. Asik could not guard Scola.

Plus even though Faried may be out for the next few games and Gallinari is also out, Denver has too much depth and they can lock down. And, the Iguodala effect on Harden will make it a slow and painful death in the altitude of Denver. SA is the better matchup, so we HAVE to win Wednesday.

Yeah sit them. They'll have all the time to recover and go fishing.

you'd be tired too if you're constantly playing 4 on 5 on defense.

and yes, the rockets are a better team without a one-legged harden. wonder why mchale couldn't see this.

Maybe it had something to do with the player who takes up the most possessions on the team stinking it up?
