No, Harden was just trying to bully his way into the lane. However PJ Tucker is a strong defender and didn't allow him to get into the lane. It's a reoccurring theme when Harden faces a defender who's strong enough to not to allow him into the paint.
It's a pity that he didn't have the guts to bench Harden only. Rest him for a few more games would be better for him and the team.
We needed defense badly and Omer is benched for most of the game, WTF? Harden was clearly hurt and should have sat but McHale lives and dies by Harden, who has been the one bailing him out the whole season. Ugh this loss is the worst of the season.

Harden was hurt and limping around while Lin was hot scoring, assisting and defendng in the first quarter. Lin got benched and Harden kept playing.
The reason we are in the playoff because of the players. If you examine his coaching style, it is just terrible. Don't know how to use players, run plays from timeout--harden iso, player substitution. Sometimes, starters don't even play in the 4th quarter or late in the 4th quarter like tonite. too late to catch up.
can somebody make a thread about how the Rockets might drop down to 8th seed for those that are asking?
*sigh* Harden had a bad night, that's going to happen. The problem with tonight was the substitutions. It seems like McHale is always playing Harden too much, even after he banged knees and is shooting like crap. Takes Asik, our best rebounder out of the game even when Scola is sitting. And hardly plays Lin at all after he torches the Suns and brings us back into the game during the first part of the 2nd quarter (prior to bringing Harden back in) and the beginning of the 3rd quarter. Yet he still plays Parsons huge minutes. If McHale was tanking it's a horrible coaching decision. Now if we lose to the Lakers we're in the 8th spot. If McHale wasn't tanking, it's still horrible. Putting the starters back in with 4 minutes left with an 8 point deficit. Really? At that point, why even bother? Especially if you don't put Asik into the game since now we've got no real rebounding presence? Makes no sense at all...
