Truth. We have a shot at beating the Spurs or Nuggets, none against the Thunder. What a waste of a game, especially when the Suns coach benched Scola to give us a chance to get back.
There are way to many people pouting in their posts about this game.. we lost and the game was played the way it was. Stop posting and start thinking. zzpot
This game was definitely not b/c of the refs. They were pretty neutral tonight. Now, there have been games where they have affected an outcome IMO, but not tonight.
Will I hope the Rockets can become the spoiler for the Lakers like in years past. The Rockets should be ready for this game and they will come out ready to play. This team sucks on the B2B all year long so tonight was no suprise.
The thing is Mchale doesn't realize "sparks" do go out pretty quick. Thats why they are sparks. He should've put the starters in to close in when the lead was cut to only 2-4pts.
Harden had a bad night, fine. All players have those. It's the coaching staff's job to put the right players in at the right time and to call the right plays so the right people can have the ball at the right time. They failed in so many ways today..... No rebounders?? Sitting Omer was a big mistake. I understand that hindsight is 20/20, but after the first offensive rebound, he should've been put back in to address that problem, instead McHale hunkered down with his ill-advised choices. Not having the offense run through Lin, but rather Harden or Parsons.. Today was a day where we should've let Lin operate and have plenty of high pnrs for Lin. Once the coaches see that Harden was not feeling it, he coul'd've and should've shifted it to a Lin-centric offense. He stayed with the bench for too long. Surprise, surprise. He'd make a bad gambler and once he won a few hundred at blackjack, he'd lose a few thousand right after then blame it on the cards, smh. Our interior defense sucks. Lin's number one hw this off-season should be his defense coming off screens. I don't know if it's his later quickness, technique, strength, lack of spidey sense in detecting the screen but it needs work. Oh, and it might be too obvious, but Harden's defense is the worst. Let's move on to L.A., and kick some old butts~~
It's not that harden played awful. He's clearly our best player. But he just has to play off the ball more to let others have better games as well. Lin clearly most affective when he has the ball and is able to run the offense and get comfortable. Not saying run our whole offense through him, just would like to see it more with harden moving more without the ball.
People keep saying the Rox are tanking for Spurs. The way Rox played tonight, I don't see them winning in LA, I'm sorry. Hope I'm wrong but the Rox sorry effort tonight gives me no confidence in them going into that last game on Wednesday.
