The grizzlies might win 56 games this year and still not get HCA. That's pretty sick if you ask me. Though it was their own fault to losing to the clippers the other night.
It's probably better that the grizzlies are playing the underdog role. They can now just relax and go out and play. If they were seen as the favorites going into the clippers series, they would know that it was a shame because they know that the clippers are better. being the underdog in this series makes the grizzlies a very dangerous team.
The Grizzlies are a dangerous team no matter what because their defense is so good. That's why I was hoping Denver would lose @Milwaukee (which they should have if Ilysova could have held onto a ball). Then it would be Clippers/Houston which would have been a lot easier. Problem with Memphis is even if the Clippers win, they'll be too beat up to have a chance in round 2.
I don't understand why Denver can't lose a close game. If they are within 5 with a minute left, you may as well give them the victory. Hopefully it catches up with them in the playoffs. I really don't like that team.
Go 1-1 vs the Suns tonight and Lakers Wednesday. Assuming GS go 2-0 vs. the Suns tonight and Blazers Monday. If GS go 1-1 than it's not possible.
