Our time for some sort of tangible success and victory is now. Poor Denver with no Gallinari, SA with no Manu. Those fan bases need to try multiple seasons pissed away because of injury. Try career ending on for size. What a long few years of mediocrity and what a fabulous turnaround by the FO. There is nothing to lose for us over the next couple weeks and we have a couple major factors going for us. We are healthy (knock on wood) and unpredictable. Whether we play SA or Denver, we are going to have the best player on the floor. We have a team that has bought into their concept. They played above expectations in the regular season and I expect them to do so in the second season. These players all have the physical ability and intelligence to up their defensive effectiveness starting Saturday. I think about the greatness I have seen from James Harden this season. I wonder what kind of monster he could turn into for the playoffs. I believe we will move onto the second round. What a great great year to be a fan. But I think there is something more coming. Something special is going to happen this year. SA or Denver, doesn't matter. We will beat either in round 1.
Are you kidding me....having faith in the Rockets is great, but criticizing other organizations for injuries unrelated to management? Just a few years ago we were in Denver's shoes...
In order for that to happen;Harden has to devote to defenses and Lin has to step up and average 25 and 10 in the playoffs, which i don't see him doing.(I could be wrong)
One game??? Come on now that is just disrespecting the Rockets People here need to respect the Rockets more. Have they not shut everyone up when people were like ''we are a lottery team'' or ''we are missing the playoffs''. Come on this team CAN DO ANYTHING. To say we don't have a chance is disrespecting them
I think we have a real chance to upset the Spurs if we get them, they've been looking like the livefeed of a retirement home lately. I think the altitude will kills us in Denver.
I have faith,.. maybe i'm just a cold blooded Rockets fan, but San Antonio the last few years in the playoffs, are not the team they were in the regular season, there also injured and old.. who would be on the run every single game.. Denver I have to admit i'm more afraid of, but there in the injury lane as well, and if Harden, Parson and Lin are fine with playing them and have the confidence they can go out and beat them, then who say's we can't.. anyone is beatable, timing is key..
After further evaluation, the spurs have been better n the playoffs than i expected.. i kno i will be corrected by some if not a lot of members, I'm kinda high at the moment... and people who perticipate in those activities slip up from time to time.. with that being said, I'm still confident we can beat them in the first round..
I prefer to think we will lose in the first round 0-4, and then be pleasantly surprised if we do any better than that.
