If the Rockets win the last two games they finish with a record of 47-35 and the 6th seed. We already had the same record the same playoff seed once in our history. The season i mean ended withon't ever underestimate the heart of a Champion!!! I'm not saying we would then win a championship this year but i would take it as a good sign for the future of our team.
Anything is possible, aside from Denver sweeping us in the season series, I truly believe these Rockets can beat anyone. The way James Harden has played this year, it has made me a believer that he WILL be one of the greats by the end of his career. I read a statistic the other day that said something to the effect that only Olajuwon had more 20+ or 30+ games in one season, and that was towards the end of his career and we all know how his career ended. Harden is only 23 years old and he is already putting up MVP numbers. If history is a good indicator of things to come I see us possibly winning a championship if not this year then in the years to come and seeing yet another Hall of Famer grace this team with their greatness.
Hey I like your style,,but this team is not like that of a Dream led team...Im with the last two posters ,,,pass that good stuff here...
Hey pimpn you are right anything is possible. And it would be sweet if we get past the 2nd round, something we havent done in quite some time now..So best to luck on our quest in a title run...
What does "it's possible to win as a 6 seed, but we won't" have to do with a bright future? The future is bright, but it has nothing to do with the '95 Rockets. It's because Houston now has a playoff team with a core of 24-year-olds and cap space.
James Harden is going to step his game up for the Playoffs! With that said, I don't know about how everyone else will play. Lin hasn't really had too much playoff experience, Asik was a bench player and played 22 mpg last year vs Phi. Parsons and Smith were on the outside looking in last year. AB0 and Harden are the only players with playoff experience where they somewhat lead their teams. AB doesnt have a big role on our squad right now and Harden can only do so much. Odds arent in our favor.
Huge difference between the 94-95 team and this years team. That Championship team had great clutch veteran players all through the lineup, this years team has one great player and a supporting cast of young players learning how to play in the NBA. If the Rockets win the championship this year, it will be the biggest upset in sports history.
So in 1995 But seriously all i want is that the Rockets play hard in the Playoffs. What is definitly the same like in 1995. We are underestimated and this all season long.
You just gotta believe...anything is possible. But if we face the Nuggets in the first round....not sure about that one...
