agreed. Do we know how much the people, the media and the NBA organization except those are against the Lakers want the Lakers to make it to the playoffs? The Refs will surely standing by when it comes foul calls. Which side they will on? that is a no-brainer. Winning the Suns game will us a choice of how we want the Lakers game to be played out. If we win the Suns game, then we can lose or win (need to defeat them first of course) the Lakers one if needed. Of course losing a game is easy if we want to, however winning a game is not a one-sided decision as you wish.
Win out I would rather go in with confidence playing a tougher team, then going in without confidence playing a tougher team. Jazz out happ. Lakers out happier, but hey ill take it
Rockets win this and Warriors lose to Spurs so the team clinches the 6th seed. I think this is a must win if the team wants to stay in the 6th spot. Rockets probably won't beat the Lakers on Wednesday seeing how the whistles will be going in their favor....or in other words Harden will not be getting to the line in that game.
If the Rockets win, they clinch 6th regardless of Warriors right? EDIT: Never mind no they don't. For some reason I thought we had a game on them.
OKC plays @7pm and if they win, they clinch 1st place. Spurs game is @9:30. Spurs might having nothing to play when the game start. As an older team, Pop probably will rest the starters.
The spurs need to get a win to right the ship. Even if it doesnt matter for seeding. They have been playing poorly and coach Pop does not want them going into the playoffs on a losing streak. I think they come out tonight to crush GS to prove a point.
Need to win this game and the game against the Lakers to keep the 6th spot. Can not let the Suns stay in the game like last time need to put them away early.
ABSOLUTELY cannot lose this game. It is way important and it is also against the TANKING phoenix suns. If we lose I'm going to be pissed. Please crush the Laker's hopes of getting a 7th seed Rockets.
Houston Rockets - 2 games left (@PHX & @LAL) - If we go 2-0, we finish in 6th seed. - If we go 1-1, we still keep 6th seed if the Warriors lose at least one of their last 2 remaining games. We drop back to 7th seed if they(GSW) go 2-0. - If we go 0-2, we could finish in 7th seed if the Warriors also finish 0-2. We drop to 8th seed if Golden State wins at least one of their remaining games. *Notes - We own the tie-breaker vs the Warriors. The Lakers will have the tie-breaker against us by having the better conference record.
I reallllly hope utah wins out and we crush the lakers playoffs dreams... would almost be better than winning a playoff series, best thing is we could have both!
That would be awesome but the Lakers have been playing great and winning all the games they need in order to get into the playoffs. The Jazz control their own fate lol.
Underrated post. I don't even want to think about game threads in the playoffs lol. Every time something bad happens the fallout will be immense.
OT!!! Does anyone know if during the time Chandler was out, if Jeremy and James still did the pregame kung fu ritual????? (P.S. Rockets might totally lose this game because they always lose when I post in the game thread prior to the game, I apologize in advance)
Dude. There's no sense in using BOLD if it's for the entire post... also, PREVIEW your post before you post it. FAIL on the italics, there.
Suns in full tank mode. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Needing more conditioning, Gortat will not return for <a href="https://twitter.com/search/%23SunsVsRockets">#SunsVsRockets</a> tonight.
