Could be a blessing in disguise for the Lakers. Dwight and Gasol are now getting a lot more touches and you can see from last night game how much more engaged they were into the game on both offense and defense. In addition, the ball movements were a lot better which help keep the other role players remained focus in the entire game.

The whole Lakers team played better last night -- but that's common after a major injury to a star. Everyone gets all psyched up and the adrenalin is pumping, plus the other team doesn't quite know how to defend the new lineup, etc. That lasts for a couple of games. Then they come back down to earth.

The Lakers won't be a complete pushover without Kobe, but they're definitely NOT a better team without him.

Damn some of you are so disrespectful. Kobe's done alot for the game of basketball and is one of the best players to ever lace them up. I'm really sad we won't be seeing Kobe play basketball for a while if ever. He's been doing it so long it's just weird with him not being on the court.

He is probably on something. When guys are jacking up 70 hr you know something is up. Now you have a guy coming back so fast at his age it doesn't seem realistic.

I give him props but I will wait it out. I don't think he can do his 40+ minutes job a game. He is old and he is going to be injury prone until he can find a way to log in 25 minutes a game or sit out more games than Tim Duncan.

he injected baby juice into his injury, but doubt that will help that much.

+ He's doing rehab after an injury, every body does that. Its the agility when turning corners and first steps off the dribble that translate to basketball.
