I never understood this idea of "post-racial America." Are there people really ignorant enough to believe that racism is no longer? That's what a post-racial society is, in theory, correct? Do people really think we may have entered this because we elected a black president? It may have been a step in that direction, but I believe racism will always exist at least at a micro level.
