    Not sure if srs.

They keep asking the same question that wouldn't be politically correct to give an honest answer to. He was joking, he was blatantly avoiding the question by talking about something else.

    Absolutely because of his accent.

Had nothing to do with the fact that he was interrupting the players, asking questions that has already been answered, and probing on issues that players cannot truthfully answer.

Definitely because of his accent that was annoying.

Is the question he answers with Patrick Beverly something about his race and he responds with talking about PB? I know he isn't making fun of Beverly, man is too important to diss.

Ah, so it's something about preference for who to play in the playoffs followed by his teammate praise. Avoid the question that can only serve as motivation.

Dude's from China (Mandarin accent). I cringe too just because I'm a 2nd gen asian. It's like being embarrassed about your parents. Not just because of the accent, but because the way the question's asked (grammatically), and how the questions demonstrate the guy isn't really basketball. Seriously, what basketball fan thinks just bc a guy used to play for another team you'd know how to beat them. OKC isn't good because they have super secret plays or something.

Funny the "Hey James" repeatedly reminds me of Asians trying to get a word in at a meeting. Usually we don't know how to interrupt gracefully (out of respect for others) so when we do it looks too aggressive and anything but respectful.

    Silliness....

Here's Patrick Patterson comments after the game. The guy still have some love for the rockets.

    " PATRICK PATTERSON

(On returning to Houston) “It felt good being back in Toyota Center where I’ve been pretty much my whole career. It was good to see the Houston people and my ex-teammates and just go out there and play basketball.”

(On the Rockets playoff analysis) “I think they can go as far as they want to go. With Greg (Smith) in the starting lineup, he plays great defense and he's worked extremely well on his offense and is scoring well in the post and rebounding. When you add James (Harden), Jeremy (Lin) as they are scoring at will, as they usually do. They are very hard to guard. Spreading the court out with Omer (Asik) and there pick and roll and finishing around the rim and his ability to rebound. They are a great defensive team when they want to be and we already know they are one of the top offensive teams in the league. Like I said they can go as far as they want to if they keep playing together.”

(On Terrence Jones' play) “I'm extremely happy for him. I'm proud of him. He took advantage of all his opportunities. He went to the D-League and made the most of it and played his butt off every single game when he was down there and when his opportunity came up here in the NBA, he seized the moment and is playing exceptionally well. He is playing with great confidence and I wish him the best and I'm definitely proud of him.”

I thought the joke should be on the second generation Asian American with an education from Harvard that said " too much open shots"
