Howard has a lower TO% than Asik.

    Orlando was Dwight's team, also.

Guys, please stop comparing Asik to Dwight. It's embarrasing. Other people(non-rockets fans) can read our posts.

Think about it, though. Asik is significantly more cheap than Dwight. Signing Dwight would use up the majority of our cap space, preventing us from signing future stars.

Asik is a solid player who will only continue to improve on the offensive end as his career progresses. He's a terrific rebounder, and he's hardly detrimental to the team.

We can keep Asik and sign a star PF like Millsap, and we'd be no worse for it. Besides, it is rather obvious that Dwight has major attitude issues, and by signing him we'd be risking ruining the chemistry that our young team is putting together.

Chandler Parsons is also cheaper than LeBron James, but who you take between the 2. Morey has been chasing another star to pair up with Harden and Lin

if we got Dwight, we would have 3 all-stars on our team for the next 4-5 years. Lin will be voted in most likely, and Harden and Dwight will be on the team obviously

Millsap isn't a star. His best season was 17 and 8. He's a perfectly nice player, as is Josh Smith. He's not a star. Dwight Howard is. Teams don't get to the promised land through "chemistry" and development. They get there because they acquire All-Star talent when the opportunity is available.

Millsap and Asik are nice players. Howard is a star. Is there risk? Sure, but there's also upside of being a true championship contender. It's better to dare to be great than to seal your fate as Denver 2.0.

simmons is my favorite sports writer but he tries too hard when he's on tv. i love his writing except when he writes anything boston related, he's funny, witty, and great at pop culture references. Bought his book of basketball, twas a great read but if you follow simmons you know he has a terrible gambling problem and is HORRIBLE AT PREDICTIONS.

Simmons the writer >>>>> Simmons on tv.

id rather have jsmoove than dwightmare. can shoot the 3, great shot blocker, finisher at the rim, and we get to keep asik.

So if Howard, who's been pushed to be a second banana all season, can't change his role in the last two games against two playoff teams with their own stars, they should get rid of him. Not to mention he's been playing hurt all season.

I think that's the attitude you take when you don't have to actually figure out how put a winning team together.

And plus Morey stated that Omer is the team center of the future... He said that his next contract will be hard for the team since he has been playing so well...so with a team of Kobe, Howard, Nash & Gasol and we still have a better record the the Fakers w/ a higher seeding...do not mess with our chemistry with that loser...yet again looking only at names and not production

The goal is to build a legit championship contender(Dwight) and not a solid playoff team and a dark horse at best (Millsap).

Any GM in the NBA would trade Asik and Millsap for Dwight Howard in a heartbeat. It's not even debatable.

Sounds like he's yet another asset in a long line of assets.

that can be fixed with better teammates, better coaching and a change of scenery to a strong organization that has direction and leadership.

Yep. Morey won't pass up the chance to sign the best center in the league. He's said it time and again that he wants a second All-star player.

Wasn't it Dwight's team in Orlando? He wanted to team up with another star. First CP3 and then Deron Williams. Now he'll stay in LA by himself?
