Why would the injury to Kobe make it more likely he stays in LA? So he can for sure waste yet another year in his prime? Why does everyone assume he wants to be the man running the show? After throwing a fit because Orlando didn't trade for CP3, he was b****ing for a year and a half to team up with Deron Williams. Hell, he didn't want to come to Houston specifically because we didn't have another star. The Lakers were garbage with Kobe and him, doubt he thinks subtracting Kobe from the equation makes his situation any better.

He offered it as a suggestion, not a prediction.

What will he bring to this team we don't already have...look at the stats #1 in PPG for most of the seasons, #6 in rebounds with basically one guy doing it for the most part. ... Why do you want him?? Sucky free throw shooter, problem in the locker room (at least shaq and Kobe kept the beef quiet until after shaq left)

Let's put it this way, if Howard stays in LA then he is likely to get the season he deserves.

The only thing more entertaining than Dwight coming to Houston would be Kobe playing against Dwight in Houston. He will be PISSED!

One of the reasons the Rockets get so many points and rebounds is because of their pace. They have more opportunities than other teams.

If you looked at points and rebounds on a per possession basis, I bet it would tell a much different story.

Also, the Rockets are great against teams they can run the floor against... but they have a tough time with athletic teams that can stop their fast break and force them to play a half court game.

Dwight makes the Rockets half court game immediately better because he can score down low. It will also make it easier for the Rockets to get open 3's when teams start doubling Dwight and they swing it around to the open man.

So Dwight can drastically improve the half court offense, meaning the Rockets can match up with any team in the league... not just those they can out-run.

If Howard wants the best chance at a title without taking a paycut then Houston is clearly the best fit. I think money and spotlight is what he cares about most though, so I expect him to stay in LA.

Magic: If he doesn't get LA to the playoffs, they should let him go. They have 2 games at home. You're a superstar? Superstars win games. Howard better win tonight and Wednesday. This is a 2 game audition.

our turnovers would be lower because unlike Asik he can catch Lin and Harden's passes, he dunks everything, can block shots, and would help us get in the bonus faster( because of hack-a-howard) which would help Lin and Harden get to the line more. Asik is a one trick pony, if he is not rebounding he is useless

Don't really care too much about getting Dwight or not getting him. I'd be perfectly happy with Asik next season, I'm more concerned about our PF position.

he is also coached by one of the worst coaches in the league, if Phil Jackson were coaching him i doubt he would be playing at a low level like he is this year, the lakers are joke right now as a franchise. Its not crazy that Dwight would leave

this is one of Dwight's worst years, and yet he is still outperforming Asik by a wide margin

I think Caroll Dawson and the rockets staff could help Dwight on his free-throws and post moves like he has done for our post players this year

That's actually a fair take from Magic and makes sense.
