Hey guys, Sorry for the useless question. But does anyone know the date of the start of the First Round? If it hasn't been announced yet - how long is it usually after the last game of the season? And what are the gaps between games 1,2,3,4 etc for the First Round? Just want to know so I can take some holidays to watch the Rockets series. Thanks
27/28 is two weekends ahead. Regular season ends April 17--this coming Wednesday. Playoffs start April 20/21(next weekend)
shouldn't compare it to last year, lockout shortened year, pushed the end of the of the regular season by a week First game will be 20 or 21st. TNT has first dibs on when they can air when they start showing the Playoffs on Sunday, I'd say the only way they'd be interested in picking our series up is if we face OKC, if its anybody else, I'd bank on it being the 20th. after that its 1, possibly 2 day of rest till Game 2, then at least 2 days in between Game 2 and 3 when switching venues
****...I don't have tickets, yet. I still can't buy plane tickets yet to Houston, until I know whether Game 1 is in Denver or not.
btw...I need a date for the first round. [EDIT] I would say that ShiniKashi beat me to it by one minute...but pause
If we get the 6th seed and Denver gets the 3 seed we will most likely play on the 20th, because the Avalanche play on the 21st.
There is generally one day of rest between games where they don't change cities, and two days when they do, with some exceptions.
Random question, but does anyone know how much the cheapest tickets will be on rockets.com once playoff tickets are made available?
