Guan was impressive in his interview re: the penalty for slow play. When asked if he should have gotten the penalty (stupid, loaded question) he said something to the effect of "I respect the decision." Very affable and calm in an interview in a different language. I like this kid.

Didn't realize that is how he carded that 3rd bogey today. Wow. Better not miss the cut over that.

Out of all the people they choose to make an example of, they pick the 14 year old trying to make history?

Anyone remember Kevin Na last year at the players? Yeah, no penalty for that guy..

Supposedly he was warned repeatedly. But handing that out is ridiculous, all of them should be penalized. They are all brutally slow

Warned twice. But to penalize him on the 17th hole on Friday while sitting on the cut line?

There have been plenty of players that have played slow, and not ended up with a penalty.

The kid makes the cut! Cannot believe how screwed Tiger got on that shot... thought he was about to run away with the tourney, now he's 3 shots off the lead... ugh.

It struck me that Rory kind of looks like Asik, so I googled it to see if there were any side-by-side pics... didn't find any, but did find this... I lol'd

    Tiger may get DQ'd.

No way they do it, if they like money.

This is the club that kept out women until 2012 because of "tradition". I don't think they'd have a problem disqualifying Tiger if that's what the rule is.

I just heard an analyst from the Golf Channel on the radio talking about Tiger possibly getting DQ'd. In an interview, Tiger said he dropped it 2 yards from the original ball location. Replay shows it is more like 2 feet. He said it's 50/50 at this point whether or not they disqualify him.

It's because the people who run the Masters are full of themselves.

The DQ would be only if what he did deserved a shot penalty and he didn't mark it on the score card.

The rules committee is trying too hard.

From the article I read on fox sports this morning, the rule is pretty vague.

He is not getting DQed. He may be warned to be careful if it happens again.

Well, Bubba Watson birdied hole number 1 to go to +3.

Now that the round has begun, Tiger is definitely not getting DQed.

Guan is going to tee off in 10 minutes.
