exactly. he had 20 points thru 3 quarters, opened up the 4th with a dunk and hit a three with about a minute left.
Klay Thompson made a big three, but he made a lot of poor shot selections in the 4th. All of Landry and Lee's looks were wide open and they just couldn't knock them down.
You have no clue or your hatred blinds you to reality. Nash has one foot in the (basketball) grave and is a liability on the floor. He's so far from being an "all-time great" it's embarrassing sometimes. Without Kobe, the Lakers have no head or heart and their offense will be so predictable it won't be funny. OKC will easily defend them.

They actually knocked down a lot of shots in the 4th-- more than the Lakers-- but they weren't getting sent to the line on ticky tack calls like the Lakers were. So you can't just say "oh they would have won if they hit their shots" because "oh they would have been up 20 points if the refs had given them some calls".
I know, it's just frustrating. I think he had some good looks as well and couldn't knock them down either. he went 0-4 at one point and finished the quarter 2-6 I believe, if not worse. the whole team tightened up in the 4th
no. both teams made 9 field goals in the 4th. the Lakers made 4 three pointers in as many tries at one point and got back into the game

i hope they make playoffs and nash gets back. call me crazy, that still isn't an 8 seed i'd want to face.
Me neither. That team will be scary as hell if they actually run an offense outside of iso. They looked at their best tonight when going through Pau. Imagine if Nash gets to do his thing? They could easily be the darkhorses to go through the West.
that's what i was thinking/am pictureing re: nash, but at the same time it's hard to see him coming back to heavy minutes and roaming free like it's 2005.
Just be ready for the glurgefest if the Lakers do win. It will be all "coachbe" or "Kobe inspiring from the sidelines!" instead of acknowledging that they have a very talented team.
