After being a Rockets fan for about 7 years, I finally went to my 2nd Houston Rockets game. I was disappointed in the fact that many people weren't cheering (aside for the red rowdies) and I felt weird cheering all alone but I had to rep the Rockets. Thanks to this play, everyone began to cheer. <iframe src="http://player.theplatform.com/p/zT2_HC/iEazkwCwmKPM/embed/select/yi5pdbMLaLbV?autoPlay=false¶ms=zone%3Drockets" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen>Your browser does not support iframes.</iframe>
Really liking Terrence Jones. Nice to see the crowd wake up and get into the game. TJones came from one of the best fanbases in sports...TC can be mundane.
They were'nt cheering because they were tired of seeing Harden chuck everything but the kitchen sink at the goal.
I was at the game too. The crowd really woke up once the Rockets made the game close. I thought it was a better atmosphere than I usually see at Rockets games. This was a great play. If we had a backup center worth a damn our PF rotation would probably be Smith and Jones. They are way ahead of DMo and Robinson. Anyway, great game. And it made me feel better about the team heading into the playoffs, despite the loss. Parsons was out and we got zero production from those in his place. If Chandler is playing, I like our chances against Memphis. And Dave2000, I think I know who you are in real life. I think I knew you 9-10 years ago.
I was cheering from Q1 and screaming or trying to but nobody else did. Q3 and Q4, I started standing up and cheering. Harden did chunk up some bad shots but so did many others. Lin kept turning over the ball. Beverly didnt score. Asik kept dropping passes and not dunking like a man. T-Jones, no complaints. That's true. I probably was the same at first. It looks as if some of our players don't like grind it out ball games, I wouldn't want to play them. Anyways, next year, I'm getting tickets for sure. This was a good experience and I realized our fan base only comes out during playoffs to really cheer.
