Oh please, "what". I didn't hear you preaching against complaining about the refs when the Clippers sent Memphis packing in the first round. As I recall, both you and some other Memphis groupie who lost a bet to me sounded like broken records with your complaining.

Anyway, back to the game. Harden will most likely need to adjust to playoff style officiating. He's not going to get the ticky tack fouls, obviously. I'm not worried because he's played in the Finals before, albeit as a sixth man. We'll see how he does as Numero Uno. Go Rockets!

dude was lucky he didnt get another turnover extending the arm and being called for an offensive foul. If he aint push off it just would've been another horrendous shot.

 

Is Harden injured?


In March

in 13 games he's shooting 38.9 percent

In April

in 4 games he's shooting 40 percent, not even including this one.


The man needs to step it up.

 

chillax yall, the last shot was a good shot. harden took the golden opportunity but just choked.

i didnt watch the whole game but i looked at the stats, tjones is a beast on those rebounds.

Not the last play. Harden made the correct call going for the open shot. He missed thats all. But the play before that. Lin had the hot hand and had just made 2/2 clutch three pointers. Harden then has the ball again and goes for a contested three pointer instead of passing the ball to Lin (who was right next to him) again for another open three pointer. Anyways, hindsight is 20/20. If Harden had made the shot no one would have said anything.

 

you ALWAYS take that last shot. If I was on the rockets and I was open, I would take that shot. Just our luck it didn't go.

I think it's really ignorant to say that the Refs can never be the cause of defeat. Although we played very poorly in the first half, there were clearly a lot of plays that the refs simply got wrong. On that loose-ball foul call on Beverly towards the end, there was no foul there. In fact, Tony Allen fouled Beverly harder right after missing that dumbass reverse layup. There seemed to be a lot of favoritism out there.

 

They made sure he didn't work too hard. PB was dribbling most of the way while Lin was directing traffic.

 

Did I say anything about the last possession? I'm talking about the one before that.

 

Frankly Lin doesn't deserve the final shot, because he can't create on his own.

 

Yeah, T-Jones was great off the bench. He's been great (outside of one game, I think) since he's been moved into the rotation. Really gonna need him in the playoffs.

 

I guess the focus is not to bash Harden's last ISO plays in the last Rockets' few possesions. It is rather how the game plans were set and design for the last few possessions in the final 2 minutes. 2 minutes left is a lot of time in a NBA game. Over all Harden did his job fine throughout the whole game even he didn't make all those shots in the last possessions. The bottom line is the game plans should have been done better in the final 2 minutes. Whether the players would make it work or not is another isssue.

I agree, 50% of clutch shots should be set up for Lin, most expect Harden, Kinda changing things is good. Its good for head-games, good for dictating your will on your opponent

 

Oh and seeing how off Delfino was tonight I really hope Parsons comes back soon.
