    it was a pretty weak celebration. I'm not surprised he got a fine for a throat slashing gesture, but 25 grand. :eek:

    Yeah, you could see this coming. He's just not a celebration-dance kind of player, and he's best when he acts like it's business as usual. Some friend gave him really bad advice on that one.

    The gesture was so lame -- immediately made thousands of viewers think LOLWUT.

    Oh dang I didn't notice he did that from the other view during the game. I thought he did like a chinese kung fu move or something. 25 grand! I could buy a new car with that money. Hell, some people make that much in a year.

    It wasn't to another human being, and it wasn't even a big gesture.

    It wasn't even medium. I guess the people in charge thought that, being a nationally televised game, some people who watched it on TV would be offended?

    25,000 is nothing to durant, plus all the help from the NBA refs, its time to pay back to the NBA

    durant is not that nice, seen him play dirty against the jazz

    I dunno bout you guys, but man that gesture sure got me terrified like nothing else. No place for that in the NBA. Think about the children. The Children!!
