Ideally I think we want the six seed with Memphis sliding up to 3.

I think we have a good shot against the Grizzlies, I think Denver slaughters the Clippers giving CP3 a reason to bail in the offseason, and hopefully Utah. I also like a potential second round matchup vs the injured and old Spurs.

This last week of games is actually really interesting.

So I don't know if it is possible or not but for me the ideal scenario is:

    Spurs
    OKC
    Memphis
    Denver
    LAC
    Houston
    GS
    Utah

I think we're all in agreement about avoiding OKC. The only way to guarantee that is to take the sixth seed. OKC and the Spurs may be fighting for #1 & #2 until the end.

Plus, tanking games is a bad habit to teach a team this young. I say go all out no matter what.

i don't think the Thunder want to play the Rockets. Look how hard they have been trying to get the #1 seed, where they will probably play the Lakers.

i don't think the Spurs want to play the Lakers, so they don't mind losing the #1 seed.

the warriors won't want to play the Thunder, but i don't know if they prefer Denver or the Spurs. my guess is they would rather play the Spurs so I expect they will end up the 7th seed. i think they will try to win their home game on Monday against the Spurs, but their other 2 games they will not try hard to win.

Spurs want to play LAL, saw in other thread it's the best opp for them with over 90% chance of advancing to 2nd round. They don't want play us, same as OKC.

Would the Spurs rather play Golden State or the Lakers?

I'm goin for gs tonight. Looking at the bigger picture, its not like we're winning a chip this yr regardless of who we play in the 1st round so i'd rather see LA miss the po's

    Let's keep this thing going.

    Houston
Sad I'd even have to mention or clarify, since it seems there's some on here hoping we'd lose this one. Obviously, you wouldn't want to fall to 8th which is a possibility.

    Golden State
Yes even if they retain the 6th spot, I'm not afraid of HOU playing DEN or SA, plus what ever it takes for LA to miss the playoffs, and Rockets not playing OKC at all cost.

    San Antonio
A win here would keep them interested in chasing first place. Pop would most likely not rest his vets against LA and keep fighting for that spot. I also think they will end up losing out to OKC in the end leaving them in 2nd. If HOU remains 7th, they'd play SA regardless.

    OKC
So they can put on some distance from SA just in case they choke the next few games dropping them to 7th. That would be the worst case if HOU were to remain in the 7th seed. Just hope SA doesn't give up chasing for 1st if OKC wins tonight.

    Denver
Because if by any chance the Clippers slide in that spot, Denver would be the least of our problems if somehow we slid into 6th.

    Utah
Well i'll be damn, one of these clowns have to get in right? If Barkley can hate on the Rockets, than I can blame his fat asss for letting Stockton drain that dagger. Still, juck the fazz and I hope they fall if/when they make the playoffs.
