    Possible DING, DING.

I always wonder how RW was able to perform at the collegiate level, travelling and all, without any major complaints. That sure turned quickly when he turned pro. He just isn't good enough against better competition at the pro level.

He had a chance to use his fame to do something good, bring awareness, yet he has done nothing but cripple the chances and eradicated the likelyhood of any future NBA prospects being transparent and forthcoming with mental health issues. God even i practice basketball more than him.

    My bad.

I was thinking about top 5 talent coming out of NCAA.

What was I thinking! You are correct that he was a top 5 talent out of Iowa.

That blog is so pretentious. The part accusing Klosterman of being unconsciously racist made me shake my head in disgust. He paints Klosterman as an interviewer with a hidden agenda and even suggests that there was malice in his conduct. Whereas White is of course the "thoughtful" martyr, who has "thought his arguments through logically." Not the most objective piece out there.

Klosterman points out that there are flaws in White's argument. Furthermore, that White cannot seem to comprehend that his actions do have consequences. According to the article, White doesn't even practice basketball like a professional basketball player. He comes off as spoiled and arrogant. Like other posters have said, his laziness is not attributable to his mental illness.

Just write him off as a bad investment and cut your losses. Sure, he has human rights, but the right to make millions as a basketball player is not one of them. Especially not when he makes demands for benefits that he does not deserve. There are high expectations of basketball players and that is part of the reason they are paid so well. He cannot expect to take shortcuts and still come away with a million dollar contract. His so-called evangelism is nothing more than the whining of an arrogant spoiled kid. I hope the Rockets get rid of this guy sooner rather than later.

Nathan Kalman-Lamb seems to be the perfect Royce apologist: politically correct radical egalitarian eager to tackle head on any perceived inequality. Royce and his anxiety troopers must be a real boon for him.

Watch his game vs Kentucky and maybe then you will understand why they considered him to be a top level talent going into the draft.

If you had done a little research yourself and then maybe you will understand almost no one said he was a top five prospect/talent. Davis, Drummond, MKG, Beal, Robinson, Lilliard were among top five by most. At most some considered White as a top ten prospect/talent.

Who is the one who kept saying he was top five talent and kept on repeating it enough that EVERYONE actually believed it? And this didn't happen until AFTER the draft!

Could it actually be the person who drafted him, realized White was heading for a bust, and came up with this top five talent excuse?

In Morey we trust, but do not trust EVERYTHING he tells you.

The media will turn on him soon. Right now he's fighting a cause...but as more and more of his failures to play come to light eventually he will come across as a charlatan.

Question is will he sense that and react in more than just word?

Problem I see with R.W. is that he will do enough to stay above sinking. That is, when threatened with losing his career, he will step it up enough to become good enough to make an NBA team, but once there, he will slip back. He'll never reach his potential, because ultimately, it's not in his heart to do so.

His contract is guaranteed through next year so you can look forward to another season of this farce.
