    Japanese? ... Asians?
This thread is startin to look like twitter after "Red Dawn".

Back to N. Korea, folks. They found a unicorn lair.
    http://newsfeed.time.com/2012/11/30/unicorns-existence-proven-says-north-korea/

On April 15th (N.Korea's Founder's [birth]Day), expect something to happen. Last time it was their satellite missile test. I wouldn't be surprised if they did another missile or nuclear test.

Or maybe Kim will be in a good mood and end this fiasco while claiming credit for saving the world from disaster.

How the hell is China getting a free pass in all of this? Their actions helped create and defend today's North Korea.

The worst thing China and Russia could do is completely abandon NK and back it into a corner. Tension needs to be diffused not escalated.

I actually agree with you Texxx.

In certain parts of America, and the world for that matter. Not in the suburbs at mom and dad's house. When people behave like North Korea's gov has been behaving - Waiving thier gun, talking reckless. Those people become statistics. Along with the people supporting them. Life gets REAL, really fast.

The NK Gov is hiding behind innocent citizens, taking the citizens of NK, SK, Japan, Guam, etc hostage. And it's a really a shame. And when they are forced to pay for thier reckless rhetoric and fear, it's a shame that many of those innocent citizens will likely pay in the process.

The leadership of NK are among the worst people in the world.

    Bin Laden says hi.

China should be trying to talk to N. Korea more than they are. I have heard China has been bluntly telling N. Korea to stop doing what they are doing but who knows if that is actually true.

trying to change the subject is a sure sign that you cannot defend or refute the topic at hand

I'm believe I'm right on the subject. Unless your denying that the British created Pakistan and that the US created modern Iran and Al Qaeda.

I'm not really sure what you expect China to do besides vocally oppose NK's actions? Invade them like the US invaded Iraq (which the US also help shape)?

You could argue that the West caused current communist China after the Boxer rebellion. Why aren't they doing something about China???

You're not on the subject. Iran and Iraq and off topic

China should have prevented NK from getting a nuclear bomb. They did not.

My opinion is that both USA and China are at fault.

    China:
give up on NK, going for $$$ and oil.
    never promise NK any protection.
never have military presence in NK to control them.
deeply bond with USA, NK's enemy.

    USA:
    still in cold war mode.
yearly militarily exercise on NK's border.
the war in Iraq and Libya.
    Sanctions and propaganda manipulation
    Japan.

Three ways to achieve peace in that area:
    1. China promise to protect NK with nukes. (why? so no way)
    2. USA stop the cold war mindset and truly help two Korea reunite (why? not gonna happen)
    3. NK pursue nukes. the only way left for them.

but they will never use nukes if they have them already. The simple reason is that Seoul and Tokyo are full of Chinese, we are talking about ~200K to 1 million. They will never do it.

Well the NK have nukes so no one is going to mess with them. If they decide to use them say goodbye to south Korea. Also that nuclear fallout will harm china. How will the US justify sending troops into a place with radiation?

The thing is there isn't really anything anyone can do at this point except try to play nice with NK because realistically there isn't much you can do now.

    My opinion:

NK doing this for leverage in deals/aid bargaining/demands

And NK leader wants to show his people that he too can be a great leader like this father (by standing up against the world). Hard for somebody young as him to get credibility unless he can at least act and show hes tough
