Did I miss something here? He spent time with government officials in Cuba? Or are we just making up stories now? I find it funny that more people are upset about Jay Z visit Cuba as a tourist than Dennis Rodman being a personal guest of North Korea.
so.. Jay-Z thinks the WH gave him money, Obama is jokingly saying "you're gonna get me impeached" is Jay-Z the one being played here, or are they all creating a show? im not sure if Jay-Z himself is under the impression that the WH gave him money, or he's just saying that to create a song and a controversial story
didn't an Obama campaign office have to take down a picture of the Che? I guess that office forgot that Obama was also half black?
Well Guevara's been dead for a half century, and black Americans aren't communists (despite conservatives' tireless efforts to paint them as such during the Civil Rights movement and the MLK Holiday debate); so I guess we're wondering what your damn point is by posting this bigoted garbage in a hangout thread.

I visited Cuba last year, via Mexico City. Didn't get questioned or hassled at all when I got back to the US. Fascinating country. I've posted pics here for anyone that's interested.
FYI... Some of you aren't interpreting parts of this song correctly at all. Even the article posted has its interpretation wrong... ex: "...but got White House clearance" part is NOT in reference to getting approval to visit Cuba. It's in reference to Jay-Z ability to network amongst the politicians. At the end of the day, Skin color does not matter, only color that matters is green. Hence, Jay-Z having better seats at the inauguration that most, even former presidents. But then again, I'm not gonna sit here and explain the color yellow to a, or any other color to a person born blind.
somethin tells me Jay-Z won't be holding the next white president's inauguration concert even if his net worth is double by then.
I don't get this infatuation with entertainers. Jay-Z knows as much about Cuba and Che Guevara as the average American (at one point those Che shirts were a huge rebellious fad). He's just a rapper and I guess he's made some good business decisions. But, there's no reason the white house should have to answer questions about him especially since it's not nearly as difficult to to get to Cuba as the talking heads have made it seem.
I guess you are like Marc Rubio, kind of uninformed about Che. Che was against apartheid. He held some of those beliefs when he was younger, but are you saying a person can't change their views over their lives? There are a lot things that Che did that were questionable, but Marc Rubio has no idea what he is talking about.
