I'm pretty sure they were not there on missionary work. He's not bent because someone went, he's bent because most people can't just subvert the law with approval.... and most people wouldn't make a song about this if they did.

Glad to see some people here are finally getting sick of hearing about these two - even on a Houston-based message board.

Beyonce needs to take a break and lay low for a few years. She's getting way overexposed. It's only a matter of time before the inevitable backlash starts.

Jay-Z has the White House responding to his songs the day the drop.

    Jay-Z won.

(listens to "Can I Live" off of Reasonable Doubt and does the Kim Dotcom picture pose...)

A reporter asked Jay Carney about it and Jay Carney completely shot down the reporter and discredited Jay-Z.

but I guess any publicity is good publicity?

Blah blah blah... we have bigger concerns than whether those idiots (Jay Z and Beyonce) go to Cuba.

Further, since 2011 it has been a lot easier for Americans to go to Cuba, and many people if they REALLY want to go can under the new rules.

I went prior to 911. It was very poor but the people seemed happier than many other places I have visited.

If you really want to go to Cuba, you can.

I don't care if you or any other jackass makes a song about it.

That's because Tiajuana doesn't rhyme with shooting.

I'm pretty sure it's referring to Houston the street in NYC and not HTX

no, its a line about leaving town because he is "hot" in NYC.. it meant leaving town when nas said it, and it means leaving town when jay said it. its also a reference to his wifes hometown. and when nas said it, it was a reference to the producer of the track, dj premiers hometown.. HOUSTON, TX..

and as kam said, houston rhymes with shootin so it works..

Well, I don't care if you or any other jackass is fine with it, I was just helping explain his post since you made a comparison that didn't seem equivalent.
