I think they'll go on sale right after the last game of the season. At least I remember it that way when I bought some 4 years ago.
I never ever ever have any luck purchasing playoff tickets online, rather it be rockets or texans, hell at 10am this morning texans draft party tickets were released on ticketmaster and i had no luck there either. Are there any tips or tricks i don't know about?
You need to create a bot to scrape these websites. Buy the cheapest season tickets you can get Then, before they go on sale to the general public, they offer extra to the season ticket holders. Buy better seats with those, and flip your regular tickets.
Since I'm not renewing my season tickets next year, I can't buy my playoff tickets per round. I have to pay for them in full, which is $1,292.00. If someone wants to buy my seat for playoffs (Sec 102, row 19, aisle seat next to 103), I can try to work something out with you. It's a great seat/view of the game, and you'll save tons of money opposed to buying them at resell prices online.
you should relo to the the cheapies, or at least get a pair somewhere in the stadium. the marquee games should cover the cost of the tickets for next year. unless they get you for PSL's or multiyear agreements.
Lol. I wish, along with every other STH. We were lucky to get face value for marquee games this season.
that sucks. i wonder why the rockets have trouble selling out the joint (even without getting into how fun this team is to watch/having elite and rootable players/the fact that they win). I'm guessing it's because of the comcast situation and how half of the x million people cant get those games on tv. Or are the ST prices really high? were they selling out during the yao tmac years?
Even if they sell out, it will, unfortunately, never look like a sell out. This is due to the corporate people that either spend all of their time in the club, leave/get there early, or just don't care enough to show up. It's a shame really how many seats seem to go to waste. As far as getting anything for your tickets, REEKO is right, even for the marquee games this year, we were lucky to get face value. Now that they're playoff bound I've got a few above face value offers (like for the Kings game), but nothing for the year that would make me say....I'm going to renew just to try to sell what I can and expect to make a profit, even if I factor in the playoff games. Who knows, maybe this will change if we can get another superstar, but the key word there is "if".
Yeah Harden isn't a household name yet. And while Lin is, he isn't Houston's darling. Getting to the 2nd round this year I think would do it. Or like you said, adding another elite player would too. Ticket prices are pretty reasonable, although I never like the pricing structure of baseball and basketball ST's. There's just too many games for the avg joe/jane when you throw in parking, food, and gear for 40+ games. Maybe ol' DM and his stat nerds can devise a more efficient pricing structure.
They are the 4th most profitable team despite having crappy attendance and poor tv ratings so they know how to make money.
Some people are already selling tickets on flash seats to game A and B. That's the only way you can buy them right now without having season tickets. Also, if you go to Rockets.com and click on single game tickets then click on Rockets they show tickets for playoff game A but you can't buy them. So hopefully that means they are going to let us buy them soon.
not hard to do that when you have the 4th largest pop in the country, a bunch of companies HQ'd in Htown for sponsorships and probably a fat tv deal because of the pop. it'd be nice if they pass that along to fans...unless they already do and fans are just fickle. though i do undertand, having no marquee guy/playoff appearance since yao and tmac, and the rise of the texans will do that.
****, I already picked some up. Date and Time is TBT, but I figured why not. $71 each for some nosebleeds.. but they're not behind a basket at least.
Hi all..Hope this clears up some of the questions. The only way to buy playoff tickets today is to buy season tickets for 2013-14 or to buy them on flash seats from the 2013-14 season ticket holders that are selling them. As for the first 2 individual home games of the playoffs, they will go on sale to the general public after the regular season is over. Meanhwile, over the course of the early part of next week (Mon-Wed), there will be allotted time slots for various groups to take part in presales of individual playoff tickets (first 2 home games). These groups include season ticket holders (additional tickets), partial plans holders and others. The last of these groups to have access to the playoff presale will be Rockets Insiders. It is free to sign up to become a Rockets Insider at http://www.nba.com/rockets/fans/Rockets_Insider_Sign_Up-259151-822.html All the above mentioned groups will begin receiving emails on how and when to purchase pre-sale tickets for the first 2 home playoff games in the early part of next week (Sun-Wed).
My question is based on when will we find out WHEN each game is played? I have family from the Philippines coming that want to attend a game and Im hoping that we can get tickets for all of us depending on the dates of games 3 and 4 in correlation of the days that they are here
It looks like they are on sale today. Is worth buying them early or can I wait a couple of days and go buy them at the box office and save the 6 bucks per ticket?
I had the same debate but ended up pulling the trigger today. It somewhat depends on the opponent, but if we win tonight and get the Spurs, I think they would go really quickly (especially the cheaper tickets), considering the ease of road team travel...
