Lakers last 10 games, in their playoff "push" currently for 0.5 game lead in 8th seed: 5-5 record IF they make the playoffs, especially for THIS team it would be the definition of "backing in" and not really earning it. I don't see them "turning it on" this last stretch either. Hopefully the Rockets have something to play for in seedings so they don't lay an egg to the Lakers Really the best usefulness of these kinda links its the avatar/sig T&A these other boards can get away with. Spoiler Or maybe they and Spurs fans have to compensate for lack of knowledge with camel-toe pics
I personally really REALLY want the lakers to make the playoffs, only to see an old duncan led team sweep them.
I don't... If they managed to get to playoffs who knows what Kobe could do. Think of the boner the media would get if they somehow managed to make it to 2nd round or beyond, would be sickening.
Without Lillard or Aldridge on the court, airball open corner 3, brick long jumper, it's almost like watching last year's Bobcats.
This is why several of us said the Blazers would crumble when they were in 7th/8th place in the West. There was no way their starters could keep playing huge minutes like that. Before they plummeted, even their GM commented he wished he had given them a better bench because their early success was a big surprise to him.
Why did the Lakers need a superhuman effort by Kobe just to beat the lowly Blazers? Im afraid he is going to be really worn out.
Been thinking that too. They could run the table and get in...but they're going to get swept right out. Especially if they have to face OKC. Worst case scenario is they draw the Spurs - the only team old and slow and injured enough for them to have a chance against.
47 is cool...but the started like 4 rookies man. Seriously, it shouldnt take all of that to beat a team of rookies with no depth. I know it might not seem like much now, but the inconsistency always show up against the teams who are really organized.
The real surprise was Lillard's rise in such a short time. They have a very good starting lineup. If they had a GM like Morey, they'd be surrounding the core of Aldridge, Batum and Lillard with quality role players in no time and be a contending team in the near future.
