Are NK leaders rational? If they are, they would not attack, just stupid macho talk. If they are all psychos, then who knows.

The best thing is to sit back, drink lemonade and try to get intel. If they attack us or S. Korea, they won't exist.

I think there's a problem that's going to come up when talking about the Japanese taking over Korea. Japan did do that, and then treated the people horribly.

Japan tried to strip Koreans of who they were. Koreans had to adopt Japanese names, not use their own given names, They were supposed to speak Japanese, were forced to go to Japanese shrines instead of practicing their own religion. The Japanese soldiers poisoned fruit and gave it out to Korean families including children.

It's understandable why Koreans might be upset about a Japanese person bragging about that occupation.

I'm glad for that bomb. Should've bombed more. I'm proud of the victory in WW2 and what a way to beat the japanese. Go USA!

I didn't "brag" about it. I was sniping at an idiot who was bragging about how the Koreans had never been conquered because of nationalistic fervor blah blah blah.

I would be shocked if any nukes whatsoever were used if the U.S. had to act on North Korea. They wouldn't need to bust any deep bunkers.

Respectfully, why do you think that and/or how on Earth would we know what we need at this point?

sorry, I do not think that's a racial slur. I would never use it on ordinary Japanese people but it was just right for calling those bastards from 70 years ago or their bragging admirers like that SOB. He deserved it and he will get that a lot.

Sorry, but in today's world, it is. What the other guy does? If you think it was bad enough to inspire you to use a racial slur, then you should have reported him instead. Putting yourself on the same level you see him at doesn't solve anything.

    He's a piece of ****. I don't care I'll say it.

He says "we", like he did anything. If he wants to be grouped together with those POS Japs 70 years ago, then so be it. You don't go around saying crap like my people "conquered" your people in 5 years and then get sensitive about a few "racial slurs". If he wants to be a piece of **** then he'll be treated as one.

I didn't say it was a good thing - I don't think it was a good thing. I said it happened. Saying that we conquered Korea is a fact, a fact with many unpleasantries behind it, like all conquests, but a fact nonetheless. And against someone crowing about how Korea is somehow unconquerable because of some nationalist fervos, someone who I've always viewed as an idiot beforehand, I'll admit I got annoyed at him.

Rape and murder are a lot more than unpleasantries.

For whatever reason, imagine if the U.S. acted to destroy whatever launch capability they thought NK had. I sincerely doubt NK could then launch anything afterwards without telegraphing it hours or days ahead of time. Maybe if China stepped in afterwards and offered air cover, the U.S. wouldn't have a chance to strike again. Who knows?

Pretty much everything about what could happen with NK is a "who knows?" This is just my best guess.

But my main point was there is no way the U.S. uses nukes on NK.

For the same logic I don't hate the current generation of Japanese citizens, you are not allowed to use "we". Your generation did not do anything, the previous generation did. There is so much needless hate being passed down from generation to generation that I find it ****ing pathetic.

A war with as much hype will produce civilian (non-military) casualties. No sense in dragging it out; nuke them and get it over with.
