    Omer having the greatest rebounding season by a Rocket since '79 Moses Malone. 4th best of all time for the Rockets.

    Call me crazy, but I think if Omer improved his finishing and developed a consistent 10-12foot jumper, I'd take him over Dwight.

    Cheaper, more reliable, less injury prone, not a selfish/self-concerned player, hustles, plays hard. He's making some good outlet passes too, esp since he gets so many rebounds, long cherry picking passes when it's not too risky, are a beauty.

    Another player that has really risen up to the challenge is Greg Smith. If only you could morph his finishing skills with Omer's rebounding prowess. Oh, we can just play both at the same time! :p

    PLAYOFF BOUND.

    Omer/Harden/Lin/Parsons --> carry us through!!

    Have a handful of friends from Chicago, they still miss him. Happy to have him on the Rockets, he's been incredibly solid throughout the season.

    Yes, Omer is awesome. He cleans up a lot of defensive mistakes and gets the boards. A very necessary part of our team. Our fate in the playoffs depends on his play, 3 pointers, and spreading the offense around.

    If we had Camby, Dalembert, or G. Smith as our starting C this year then we'd miss the playoffs.

    I would like to point out that Lin kept on passing him the ball even when the combination was not working well, and even when Omer often couldn't hold onto the ball. Sometimes I wished Lin wouldn't pass him the ball, but I guess Omer has gotten better. Omer really gets many easy opportunities to score.

    I think Rockets will be making a big mistake if they bring on Dwight. Not worth all the potential problems. Only thing Dwight will help is in helping Lin's assist numbers and scoring go up because Dwight can finish and dunk better than Omer.

    ugh if we had James Harden last year instead of Kevin Martin we would have made the playoffs

    Camby and Dalembert werent the problem last year, Lowry coming back and ruining chemistry was

    perennial allstar if he can get his offensive game going (none of that up and under crap).

    that being said, he could also be traded this offseason. the way this team is going though, i've reconsidered and believe morey will stand pat this offseason. ceilings aren't even close to being reached with omer/lin/harden/parsons/bev/the 4 PF's

    Honestly now I wish we'd pick up J-smoove and hold onto Asik.

    Very proud of Asik tonight. Stepped up when at the line. If we don't get Howard, I won't be nearly as upset now that I see what Asik is capable of.

    Mad love to the big man. Omer has been a favorite of mine all season, and tonight he gave Scotty Brooks a pretty solid FU.

    You can bet that Dwight Howard would not have made nearly as many FTs as Asik did if put in the same situation. Asik's got heart.
