lmao, everybody in the lineup had a productive game offensively, most of got more than 1 hit. Yet Wallace goes 0-4 with 4 strikeouts. Even the guy who pinch hit for him got a walk in his only at bat.
We'll just have to enjoy the wins when we get them, I guess. They'll probably be few and far between this year. I'm curious why they had Bedard on a pitch count ...couldn't they let him try to go the 5th so he could get the W? Time to swap Wallace for Laird. Really wish they'd found a way to keep Frieman on the roster.
They love their Sounders (the MLS team for those that don't know). They play at CenturyLink Field where they averaged 43k fans per game last season (they actually had over 66k for a REGULAR SEASON GAME and over 60k twice).
Just saw the ESPN highlights online and I must say, those road unis look might nice! Spoiler Maybe its just seeing them in the handshake line that makes the uni look better
He was on a 65 pitch count. He's had health issues in the past so I'd rather him build up arm strength than get injured.
16 runs? 22 hits? Well, don't expect to see many runs & hits over the next few games. And Paul Clemens getting his first major league win, although it wasn't great.
While I am glad we won this one, I am a little disappointed that we managed to give 9 runs before it was over.
No, not really. I know people want to say that because of the orange and blue, but it's not even the same shade of blue. The Astros' "blue" is really more of a Navy. I'm not even a fan of the unis (I just think the road ones look better than the home ones), but I'm not going to say they look like the Mets.
