lucky win but a win is a win. lin, bev, and harden Please feed your big men more! Stop jacking up so many jumpers... chiT.
NVM I found an article, it was against the Clippers. http://articles.latimes.com/2002/nov/25/sports/sp-clippers25 I just started watching bball then, didn't understand why it counted even if it didn't win, cried and threw a tantrum lol. I guess we finally got some karma back for that lol, at a great time too
This may happen to us (most probably) during the playoffs. I hope McHale can adjust by providing plays to let the players get more than a glimpse of the ring.
I just can't believe Mchale's gameplan was give it to Harden to shoot the 3 when the score was tied and the last possession was ours. If the last possession is ours and the score is tied, you want to go for a 2 It takes a good coach to design a play at that moment for crisp ball movement and good passing between players to shoot that 2, but it just takes an average coach to realize you need your players to make a 2 rather than a 3 to win the game.. We are super lucky O neal bailed us out, because that shot obviously wasn't gonna go in either way.
The play was an isolation and that was it. He probably preferred Harden taking the shot a little closer but Harden mismanaged the time. By the time he was about to make his move, the clock was already about to expire and he was 30 feet from the basket, plus a second defender was about to commit to him too. Stop hating on McHale all the time. Geez.
Great win last night and now the Rox are playoff bound! No player had a truly outstanding game but everyone did enough positive things to help get this win. This truly was a TEAM victory.
actually shooting the three can be better in those situations since it's not expected and not guarded as much as a 2 point shot
It wasnt pretty but a win is a win. Finally after 3 long years of mediocre basketball we are back in the playoff's. The future looks very promising with this young and improve squad. Who would have thunk it after the big trade that landed Harden here to go along with the Asik and Lin that these young gents would be taking this team to the playoff's...Job well done Morey and especially Coach McHale and staff. Awwwwwwwwwwwwww Hell 2 da F#c& yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lin: 200 lbs Beverley: 180 lbs Total: 380 lbs Damn, Harden is strong. Oh btw, gotta to give credit where credit is due: MVP of this game: Jermaine O'Neal
What a game. I was primed to be really ticked off at a loss after the way we were playing. Especially in the second half. At times it looked like a pick up game out there. I hope it was a case of looking past an "easy" opponent. Patrick Beverly deserves some recognition for the final play. He really forced the issue with O'Neal by crashing the boards. If he doesn't fly in there for a suicide tip O'Neal probably lets that ball bounce. He also pulled his hands back to avoid the interference call. That kid is impressive. No, I'm not suggesting he needs to start . I like the way he's being used now. He's the kind of pesky player you hate when they're on the other team but love when he's on yours.
